This basically confirms my own thoughts on ditching basejails for good. Using several freeBSD boxes as hosts for an ecosystem of thickjails running my infrastructure (behind openBSD firewalls and relayd load balancing) made sense from the beginning and I can absolutely relate about the various issues one encounters upgrading thinjails. Yep should have bit the bullet sooner, save myself some work lol
