The roadmap for the next 3 months of TnL looks like more than BDO had in it's entire life-cycle

Funnily enough it's not the full road map, January has 12 man raids with legendary gear planned as well on Korea and cross server sieges (but that's probably cause Korean servers are a bit sleeper, especially after global comes out)

HI, kuro here. All that u said resonates deeply with my time in bdo as well, i started playing seriously and called the past 3 to 4 years for dawn on EU and it all started watching narelio and other dents calling like maniacs. The game is now but a pale shadow of it was once, as they killed what kept it alive, the brain damaged (love all of them dont get me wrong) ppl playing mainball for hours on end or doing all the diplo mess and drama, all for the sake of grabbing more fresh meat which wont last long due to the grind bdo required. Unfortunately TNL combat is no bdo but it has what bdo now lacks, which is a soul in the pvp scene, that will hopefully make it so we will have the content we want as we can just make it ourself as we always did. Knowing myself i dont play a game for the game itself, as long as its decent i play it for the people, i can have fun and scream with. Hopefully TNL will be able to deliver and act as a lifeboat for the pvp meathead community of mmos.

Even with J deciding to remove PvP, all the stuff you call back to (ie Lacari era) didn't exist in BDO for a long ass time already. Not even close. Throne and Liberty will have all of that stuff for the first half of the year/year, and then the same pattern will occur as with every, single, fresh-release mmo type game. It's a pattern that's occurred for literal decades in pvp games. That's.. kind of what happens with a fresh release pvp guild/group kind of game. There's a ton of energy and passion and new guild relationships to develop/rivalries to foster. Fatigue and going through the motions isn't there yet. But it will be.

I mean I'm not gonna set unrealistic expectations for Throne and am well aware that fatigue will just naturally happen, but even if that happens there is still more meaningful PvP to be had than in the current Black Desert drama or not. That's also why I keep asking people when they tell me that I would be back, back to what? And then usually there is no answer to it. Short term or not I'll personally enjoy Throne for however long it might last, or until NcSoft decides to take it down the same route as ArcheAge and Black Desert have gone.

@@cba Yeah when games like this come out you gotta jump on it at release / early on, to get all of that energy/action as its developing, coming in late you miss all of it and then we get into all the slow descent death throes. When guilds are at each others throats in these games, that's when shit is action packed and pvp is there even if the pvp mechs suck
