Bro, Thanks so much for the feedback. I am trying to let more of ME come out, I'm getting there but glad you were amused. Checked out a few of your videos, are you in the New York area? I grew up in Brooklyn, in the Pink Houses back in the day.

@@MarkDavis2168 You're an inspiration brother! I keep hearing being one's authentic self is the best route for social media. Soo, have fun, trust yourself and enjoy the process of being you! . Thanks for checking my vids, umm, its a work in progress. My U tube's intention is to be a safe space for birthing Narrative film projects . One mini film per month is the goal. Sharing production tips, tricks and gear reviews along the way seems be an organic part of that. Eh, we shall see.. I am NY based and a city kid through and through. More Harlem and Bronx tho. BK Respect! ✌ (I have the same slider by the way!)

The slider is built like a tank, but I did notice their site was down for a bit and is back up with new products. My next slider will be motorized TBH.

How strange the site went down! Just checked and the model I was looking at has a motor, seems also they have some pretty good motion controll stuff in the range. It's nice to see good quality without the price tag of Rhino or Edelkrone 🙂@@markthecre8tor

Gratitude my friend, thank you so much for the sub. I had no idea how hard this can be at times, but thank goodness it's fun to create vs consuming all the time. Just last night I was trying to practice on a product shot and could not get the lighting right, I finally ran out of time and threw in the towel because I have to get some sleep for work the next day. I will give it another try tonight, and keep trying until I figure it out. Thanks for the feedback and if you have any questions please reach out. I might not know but we can figure it out.

I looked at your posted content and am wondering what your content creation niche is , it looks like you are in Dallas area , my challenge is not searching for a content niche or a content mission statement, my challenge is my profound struggle to interface with technology , and time management is also a challenge for me , as I am pulled in a few different directions , cool slider
@markthecre8tor Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. You bring up an excellent issue around the content niche. Since I am new I have not focused on one area, to be honest. Many pros say niche down others say don't but I am new enough that I learn something from everything. Some of the b-roll I shot with the outside scenes I learned from messing around with a product shot in the house. Try and fight through the technology piece, take it in small bites. How do you eat an elephant? one bite at a time. Time management is a struggle for me as I work during the day, and have a family to raise so I fully understand. Just learn when you can, I am in the Dallas area and if you want to sync up to shoot anything I am game.
@Triston_Davis Жыл бұрын
My advice is to create any and everything you want. Once you do that you'll have options to niche down because you will learn what you enjoy to do more then the other. You'll learn what comes natural as well. Don't worry about growth yet, just work on creating. Good luck, and keep on keeping on!

DOES THE SLIDER make noise when you push it?
@markthecre8tor Жыл бұрын
Hey there, the slider is virtually silent when pushed. If you put your ear next to it really close you might be able to hear the rails and the felt scrubbers rubbing as the felt cleans the rails but that is so low it would be hard for a mic to pick up that sound.
