Amazing insights on a topic which has been existing since ages but not often talked about. I have been there, feels like I almost wasted 7-8 years of my life just because I backed out of CA final. I was done with it mentally and couldn’t carry on anymore. I have switched to CPA now and will be completing it this year. Just an advice for anyone taking this up - if you are sure that all of the points mentioned above (multiple attempts, penny stipend and skill gap post qualification) are not going to break you mentally then go ahead. Hi Nishant, CA and CS enjoy different moats in job market, core CS jobs are is demand and will always be in compliance, legal/regulatory aspect of MNC admin/IPO, etc. However, the main point would be to evaluate intake vs CS conversion, annual demand, average packages, etc. I don't have an in depth research conducted yet on this topic, will consider it soon.

@@nishantshetty613 Demand for CS will definitely follow a growth trajectory, however, the only risk factor is demand vs supply of CS professionals in the market (if the supply is heavy, the demand side, that is recruiters, will have higher bargaining power leading to lower growth in avg packages offered to CS professionals). AI won't replace, but rather help CS professionals in the future!

Tier one category- most of the colleges charge 25L, with avg package of 30L+ And you can opt for SBI scholar scheme- education loan!

Hlo sir. I'm final year bcom student also CA inter student. I have failed once in my CA inter group 1 exam after which I don't feel like studying it. Actually I wanna build career in finance and accounts. But CA require lot of time and patience.pls suggest what are the other options available for me in your opinion?

Hi Komal, it depends on your preference, but broadly if you want to enter accounting, taxation, or reporting profiles, you can consider - US CMA, CPA, EA, etc. and if you are targeting core finance/investment management profiles - CFA, CFP, FRM, etc. are good options.

Yes, prior to 2024 it was three years, now it is changed to 2 years!

But to get cop yon need 1 year more articleship after becoming ca 😂😂😂 For getting into practice yon need to take total 3 year articleship 😅😅😅
