As a fellow ex-investment banking analyst, I really appreciate the honestly in this video - it takes a lot to come out and talk about the challenges and struggles you faced while in banking. I think its so easy for people in high powered finance roles to be blinded by money and prestige, and lose sight of what truly matters in life. I admire you for taking a risk with the startup and choosing the path less traveled - thanks for sharing!

God bless you and God bless anyone reading this! Hope you have an awesome day! Seek him while you can! Jesus is the way and the only way and he is returning soon! Whenever you think you aren't loved... Remember the ultimate sacrifice was for love! ENDING YOUR LIFE IS NEVER THE ANSWER! For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV The wages of sin is death (hell) but Jesus paid our debt on the cross, for our salvation! We must turn to God and away from our sinful ways, Confess Jesus is Lord and believe with our hearts that he was risen from the dead by God, and we must be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit and live by His word and Commandments! Trust that God will help with the rest! Seek God today before it's too late! Today could be your last day on earth! Have a blessed day! -💯💯🚨🚨❤️❤️❤️

Ben, I'm sorry about your mom. The bay area has a fast pace culture where you kind of lose track of time and either work a lot or buy unnecessary things. You did better than most would have done under the circumstances.

Hi Ben! Great and moving video! I can definitely empathize with how it's easy to just go through the motions and follow the beaten path. I’m so glad your video touches on the importance of taking a step back and re-evaluating where we spend our limited time! I guess as humans we are naturally inclined to be optimistic about the future. At the expense of sounding super creepy, I also went to Cal (go Bears!) and met you at a networking event once. I just remember you being one of the kindest people I met there and making it less intimidating. This is why I am starting to slack off in my back office job. Never go "above and beyond", just do what is within your responsibility, and that's it because you can sacrifice everything and big corporation will just lay you off like throwing recycles out of the door. But even recycle trashes have their usefulness by being reused, you are not even worth more than some cardboards and soda cans

I'm happy that you have no regrets but you kind of fell for the young funder fallacy, it is not true that it's better to fund your own company while in your 20s in fact the average age of the successful owner is 45 or something like that. Now, of course, you will probably not make it on the first time, so you can start trying in your 20s until you make it, but there is no real pressure to do it while you are young

Every youtuber says ' let's jump straight into it. Or let's dive right into it' I'm seeing now these content creators are pretty unoriginal hoop jumpers. They're all the same. Vapid.

Saw your post from AHN and wanted to say I couldn't agree more about when to jump into entrepreneurship. It varies for every person so it's reassuring to know that you encountered this thought as well. In the end, I finally came to this: A job will always be there but the moment to pursue entrepreneurship might not always be

How was your 6-month backpacking trip and how long did you plan for the trip? I always say to myself :”I’ll travel for a long time one day”, but it hasn’t happened yet.. and I want to do it before I turn 30 soon.. Awesome and highly motivating video :)

dang so sorry to hear that Henry I feel your pain. If you're able to pay for caregivers and she's able to live near you I think it may be okay to pursue IB at the same time. My mom was in Korea while I was in the states and I was an analyst for a few years, so it made more sense for me to quit and be with family while working on my businesses. Wish you all the best~
