I took an unplanned sabbatical earlier this year from a toxic manager, and leaving that job it has been one of the best things that have happened to me in 2024. It's given me time to fully detox from that job, recalibrate my health, and more. As the daughter of immigrants, working hard is ingrained in my culture, and it's been a journey freeing myself from that narrative And as a former retail girlie I can relate--working retail is hard!!

Heyy Von!! That is amazing to hear, and guess what you have the CHOICE to do what's best for YOU and NOT for what looks good on paper or to please others. I love that for you. Cheers to more courageous moves; we got this!! ☺️

Sometimes nursing can feel like a lifetime commitment, but guess what, you can opt in and out at anytime you chose. You have jurisdiction over your life, and it’s time we all exercise it. Wonderful video

@@jalenwesley755 hi Jalen! You but the nail on the head. As nurses we feel like we don’t have any other option out side of getting a post graduate degree, when in fact we do have agency! It just takes a little faith and little planning to try a new thing. Thanks for watching and commenting. 🙏🏽😄

Hi Beth, I can totally relate to you redefining and truly learning yourself now. Crazy enough, I also had what I like to call "attacks" in my sleep that were wake up calls for me to address my mental health. Great video!

Wow, that is so reaffirming I wasn't the only one experiencing those same things. But I am glad to hear you are using the past tense as in you are not having them anymore!! 🙏🏽 Our bodies are great taddle tellers; we just have to listen and humbly take action. Thank you so much for watching and connecting.

New subscriber! I love this video. I am going into my Adult Gap Year in one month, and will be growing my KZbin channel during that time. I’m also moving to a new city and state to rest and work on a project for myself which is writing a book!!! Great content!
