Those that are negative towards you are most likely sheltered. Or have been brainwashed by those horrific commercials that depict cruelty. As I can see it You are a very good caretaker I have not seen any of your rabbits trying to escape, they are content with their lives and you do a very good job. God bless you 🙏.

People are completely disconnected from where their food actually comes from. I know for me, I was disconnected and had a hard time deciding to raise my own meat. We have chicken, and quail and we recently purchased a couple of meat rabbits for breeders. I know it's going to be hard for me to process the babies at first but I'll get used to it. I watched yours and few other channels that really helped push me this direction for my own health . I know it's going to be great quality meat from animals I gave the best life to. Keep on what you're doing there, don't let people who don't even understand where their food comes from discourage you in any way. God Bless You and your family.

Love your videos. If people saw these commercial facilities they would not be buying meat from the stores. I love that you’re raising your own meat. Do what’s best for your family!! I’ll be in NH in a couple weeks to visit family. So excited. Was born and raised in NH.

Thank you for this video and for sharing your reasons for raising your own meat. People that buy their meat at the grocery store just don't see the reality of the process before that meat hits the shelf. I have discovered that all of the people that I have encountered that raise meat for their families are animal lovers like you and me. Thank you for teaching us!

I like that water bowl holder. I was conceptualizing something similar to that but was thinking of adding a way to hold it down so they don't throw it around.

No need to explain how you and your family are living. It is a beautiful thing. I will be raising rabbits in the not to distant future. Love your channel.

Agreed, however I think its great that she did explain because there are a lot of people who genuinely don't know. I have so many people who are surprised and have never considered the grocery store meat is much crueler than a home raised animal.

I appreciate your channel so much. There are plenty of meat rabbit channels that I have found but none quite like yours. Not only because you are a strong Christian and not afraid to say it but also the way you are so humble, and you just exude peace and kindness. We also raise Rabbits (Mostly silver fox as well) and quails on our little homestead and we have wanted to make a youtube channel for a while but the hate we see on other meat animal channels is something that holds us back. Both my husband and I struggle with other peoples negative comments ruining our day and we are worried that a youtube channel would open that up to every day... You are so sweet and patient and I really appreciate you responding to the hate comments with grace and kindness. That being said I would be interested in you giving any advice or tips on how to deal with the bad comments and how to continue to look forward to the positive community that you have made through youtube instead. Thanks again! And sorry my comment is so long.

Don't ever be sorry! Comments like this are a breath of fresh air! Thank you so much 💜 I understand having a difficult time with negative comments. But It's like my faith. Many people are blinded to the truth of Christ just like many are blinded to the reality of where our food comes from. With all the lies and deception from the world it's important to be humble to those that are blinded and don't know the truth. I'm glad to have you as part of my channel 💜

Great video! I agree with all you said, I have started my meat rabbits as well. It is important to raise or at least learn how meat is acquired. I watch a few different homestead videos to find best practices. Thanks for sharing.

I'm new here, but am looking forward to catching up on your videos. Do you! And what's right for your family. One day all these Nay Sayers will understand. And if not, well you're ahead of that! Thanks for your time and commitment!
@RockIslandguy3 ай бұрын
The people that are against this or are negative towards you have never been hungry and unable to get meat. You can only eat lettace and carrots for so long alone. We are carnivores. WE are supposed to eat meat. Hopefully the nay sayers will never have to learn the truth the hard way.

What supplements do you make for rabbits and how? Like Vitamin (C) and digestive support? Any feed that you DIY for rabbits?

Question: on your grow out hutch is there any issues with mixing litters? Like have the boys and girls in different cages but multiple litter of boys and girls in the same cages. Of course with them being around the same age. Thanks

That's a little slice of heqven you have there. I'm living in a rented house in Thailand and I'm jealous! Have my first breeding pair thogh. A Dutch buck and a mini-rex doe. It's hard to find rabbits ehre that aren't lops! Haters gonna hate. Don't listen to them.

Overlook the idiots that don't know anything about where their meat comes from, if they researched commercial raising and processing they would change their minds or keep submitting to evil convenience in lifestyle and sickness that they will eventually have. Keep up the good work you are doing and ignore the negative!

You could make your walk up the road slightly longer but less effort, if you did what I saw your son do a couple of times. He went sideways up the road. This lessens the steepness of the slope... Just an observation from a very OLD lady. I also raise meat rabbits. I process them, too. Blessings.

Hi 100% agree that the Cornish chickens are some of the most unhealthy nastiest birds. However, there are better chickens. The rainbow ranger broilers are 10 times better. They grow a little bit slower, but they’re way more energetic. They’ll actually wander around and eat the bugs and grass.. and there’s such a nicer, looking bird, and wait cleaner

Thanks for the info! There are also other reasons for us not raising chickens currently. We have a bear problem. Luckily they don't mess with the rabbits.

What are thoughts about raising meat rabbits in a colony vs. a cage? kzbin.info/www/bejne/kIS3gHhpjdaEbpY
@thestonehearthfarmhouse Жыл бұрын
We are thinking about starting a colony separate from the rabbits in a hutch. I want to try both at the same time and see which is better. Haven't made a decision yet tho on whether I'm going to or not tho.
