Good to see a follow up on Joana's previous video. Brave of her to take on rotary ownership, I am still a bit keen on the RX-8 for it's totally unique design but the upkeep on the engine is something I am not prepared for just yet. 99 is another era, the perfect era without too many driver safety AIDS ruining the pleasure of driving. Looking forward to the her next video with devils advocate - regret. I used to think the E46 M3 CSL was my dream car back in the day.

I love the look of the RX7, love, love, LOVE the look. It's timeless beauty. But, I love the practicality of the RX8. Despite having the option, I've bought a RX8...twice, over a lot of other cars. Oh, but the power you say. Well, a Sky Redline is pretty cool too, and there's always the Z4 a many generations to pick from for style and engine packages. I so, so, SO want to buy into the RX7. I really do. But I can't. Cash in hand, I can't. But that's not just a RX7 problem. I'm the same way about the S2000 too, and I've driven them several times too. Or I'll drive a Viper and go "I reaaaaaly should want this." and I'm like "mmmm....ehhhh...nah." The sad truth is a solid axle 5.0 Mustang is actually more fun to drive. It totally drives worse, but it is a lot more fun. Cars are like food though, lots of flavors, and lots of tastes. But man...FD RX7s are timeless cool, could stare at one all day, every day. That body is art.

Well done. I have 1 too. Welcome to the club. I only do 1000 miles a year on mine. Mine s a type r. Same colour too. Highly modified twin turbo. The oil coolers are behind the fog lights fyi

I don't care if I go into debt. I own an s2000 but I NEED to get an fd at all cost. To me, these two cars are the perfect duo. Yeah an nsx would be cool but the fd rx7 is a beautiful design.

You should inspect your fuel lines and any rubber hoses for leaks. 10mpg is low, even for a lightly modified rotary car.

The better question is, why buying a BMW in the first place? Haven't you learned from "BMW Driving School" video from this channel? The RX-7 is a great car. I don't like the high rpm engine, i am that torque from the beginning kinda guy. And i love superchargers. And the great thing is, you can put a Supercharger on a natural aspirated engine without to much extra work. This comment is from a native german, who hates german cars.
