Totally agree! Entering my third year riding motorcycles and still loving every second of it. Sold my car shortly after I bought my bike, too. I ride rain or shine, cold or hot, and have no intention to buy another car any time soon. Bike life!

Hey buddy love your bike it’s so beautiful your clutch cover looks great love it. I really enjoyed watching your video. I test rode a Ducati 1299sv2 years ago and really thought how amazing a Ducati is it was such a special bike just like the one you have there so awesome. I also love riding crotch rockets love the way they perform and the handling of them wouldn’t ride anything but crotch rockets. People who don’t ride don’t understand how much fun and how you get to experience all the wonderful things that come with riding besides everything you have to pay attention to being on two wheels but wouldn’t change it for anything. I also love watching MotoGP I tape every race to watch over again just for enjoyment. I’ve been riding for over 35 years and still love it just as much as I did the first time. Thank you so much for your service I appreciated you. Ride safe and God bless buddy

Flatrock Motorsport Park, I've been following that for the past couple of years. Initially they said that it wasn't going to be level 1, or something of the sort. So they would be able to host MotoGP and F1. That's good to know. Looking forward to getting down there for a track day. Miss doing track day frequently like I used to, back in the 20teens. Good community for sure.

I'm really excited about it, too. I talked to some of their representatives at cars and coffee the other day, and they said they're absolutely going to have motorcycle track days for sure and that they are aggressively pursuing bringing motogp here. Especially now that there is a team based out of nasheville. I've only been to one other track day, but I would absolutely love to do some more. Which tracks have you been to so far?

@@Knoxvillemoto When I lived in Manitoba, I did track days with STT (North) and ZARS. Autobahn Country Club, Road America, and Brainerd are the ones I used to go to. We got a new track by Calgary that opened up a couple of years ago. And There's another nice one in SW B.C. I have a list of half a dozen tracks on the East side that I want to go to. VIR, Road Atlanta, Daytona, Palmer, Barber, Flatrock.

So, MotoGP - I just subscribed to the VideoPass streaming service. First year watching and not familiar with any drivers other than the Marquez brothers but looking forward to learning about the sport. I’ve been following Formula 1 for decades so I am familiar with many of the tracks that both series share or have used at some point. Btw, this was all brought about because I just picked up my first bike 2 weeks ago. MSF course next week and can’t wait for warm weather to start racking up miles!

Nice! You chose a great time to start watching. Last season was full a excitement and drama. There is a new rider named Pedro Acosta that has everyone very excited. Despite being dominant for many years honda and yamaha are struggling very badly but just got concession from the governing organization that should help them catch up. Honda was struggling so badly that after winning 8 world championships with them, he chose to leave and go to a satellite ducati team with his brother. These are some of the highlights but there's lots more. Hopely you'll love it as much as we do. What kind of bike did you go with? Have fun and ride safe!

Cool video M8. If I can add just a little criticism… even tough all the arguments were quite interesting, sometimes there are some blank parts (when we could only hear the wind). I think you can add more topics to conversation, to avoid the blanks. Keep it going
@Knoxvillemoto
@Knoxvillemoto 11 ай бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. I usually try to edit out as much of the the blank space when I can. I'm still working towards developing a smoother and more fluid presentation style, which should improve that over time. Hopefully things will only improve from here.

is the heat bearable on a 85-90 degrees F in city? On scale of 1-10, 10 being very hot, where would you rate heat? Do you ride in leather pants or jeans?
@Knoxvillemoto
@Knoxvillemoto 8 ай бұрын
It definitely gets pretty toasty on a 85-90 degree day. It depends sometimes I ride in full leathers and sometimes I ride in thick riding jeans. The leathers definitely help. I wouldn't say it's unbearable even on a pretty hot day, but it is definitely uncomfortable. I'd say its between a 7 and a 8. When your moving its nor really an issue, but Eben in the time it takes to wait for a red light it can be very noticeable. Don't get me wrong, I love the bike and knowing what I know now, I would definitely still buy it.

Great video! May I ask the people here if the Euro 5 is really much softer compared to the Euro 4 model stock to stock? I know it will be but is it by a lot? Thanks peeps! 🙏🏻
@Knoxvillemoto
@Knoxvillemoto 10 ай бұрын
That's a great question. I don't really have much experience with euro 4 since the only bikes I've ever owned are euro 5. I will say that there is a noticeable dip in power around 6 or 7 k on my aprilia that went away when I retuned it. Initially, before I bought the SC project, I reflashed it using gabros "stock bike map" and there was still a big difference. The S1k that I test road seemed very restricted below, like 9k. I would argue that my RS660 felt faster than the S1k, below 9k rpms.

Moto America is how I ended up getting sucked into motogp. When I first started getting interested in riding bikes, my wife surprised me and bought tickets to the moto America race at leguna seca. Spending two days up at the cork screw was enough to get us both hooked. Yeah, I've thought about it a lot over the past year and a half, and that's what I realized. Motorcycles give you a more raw version of reality. Who are you pulling for in gp this season?

For the street the bmw is so much happier, even in traffic, I can be in 6th gear at 40mph and the bikes jusy as happy. But the PanigaleV2 did feel wayyy more nimble, and it's characistics made it a amazing hoon bike to ride. Can't go wrong with either bike.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/a3W9nGOir7dmjcU&ab_channel=FortNine the 28 time more dangerous figure is for a bad rider who is uneducated and unsafe and under the influence if you're trained, smart, good gear, the chances are cutdown 10x, in reality a rider on a sportsbike with years of experience is at worst 3x more likely to die because there is no cage, seatbelt or airbags
@Knoxvillemoto
@Knoxvillemoto 10 ай бұрын
The 28 times more likely figure, is a general average, which covers all riders across the spectrum of good to bad. My guess is that there are enough riders out there that the law of large numbers probably comes into play, and you should reasonably expect that the statistics form a gausian probability distribution. That would mean that the largest part of your probability distribution would be around the 28 number, and the safer riders would be at the far ends of the distribution. I totally agree that your chances of survival dramatically increase if you educate yourself, wear good gear, maintain your bike, plan your ride, ride within your skill level and perhaps most importantly, don't drink and ride. Unfortunately, the numbers show that the average rider doesn't do all of those things.
