This is such a relatable story as a handbag lover. I think we put certain bags on pedestals, and it takes time to accept that they don't suit our lifestyle. Then it's just this huge chunk of money sitting in the closet. I'm so glad this worked out for you!! 💜

As our lifestyle evolves, our wants and needs change as well. I used to love bigger handbags, but after covid, I barely even reached out to them. I am with you here Lula! I am thinking of selling most of my bags as well I just needed to find the courage of letting go of things I accumulated over the years. 🥰

Thank you for the in-depth info on the process. I'm contemplating selling my Chanel 19 and I may have to ck out Zeko. I also have a jumbo, in lambskin, that I rarely use. But I guess I'm just not ready to let it go. Lifestyles change for sure and with that, our needs change too. Hope your new Chanel bag works better for you!

I own that bag in the older Single Flap version (and I'm not completely head over heels about it either and do not wear it that often). But since I probably never ever will buy another Chanel Classic Flap, I think I'll hold onto it forever. Hope you made the right decision for your life and lifestyle the long run aswell 💕

It's so interesting to hear how others' lives changed as a result of COVID. I work in healthcare so I was reporting to work in-person everyday. Still do. Would love a work from home job but telemedicine is only applicable to some specialties.

Does Zeko use some of her $300 fee to pay for shipping to the buyer? Or is that extra? Sounds like a great experience. I agree, I used to sell my bags in the groups or on Tradesy, but now too scared to be scammed. I have so many to sell now. I didn't like the Jumbo, either. The bag was wearing me, not me wearing the bag. And the chain is ridiculously bulky & long and overall, the bag is heavy when empty. Bad for the neck and shoulders!! Wearing a bag should make you feel good, not like you're being tortured. 😂🤣I had bought the 2017 so black crumpled calfskin Jumbo from the group and then sold it very quickly, never even used it. 😅

Thanks for watching Michele! I paid to ship my bag to Zeko, and she paid to ship the bag to the buyer. I’m sure she used part of the fee to cover shipping. It wasn’t extra. Yes, I’m afraid of selling on my own and being scammed too! The peace of mind is worth the consignment fee.

@@LulaWestLuxe Chanel Reissue is my dream bag! I hv an inspired real leather reissue with similar chain n mademoiselle lock but the quilt is not distressed leather but goat skin. Chanel 19 is a beautiful casual bag. ❤️ But I want a Teddy Blake Caty Birkin style and an Ava Kelly style. Don't u know Teddy Blake already making bags since 1958 and Hermes only in the 70s if my research is correct.
