You have beautiful locs!!!! Your journey sounds similar to mine. I became tired of doing my loose natural hair and I wore wigs for about a year and a half.

Thank you! Yes, I was so tired of it too. Wigs were definitely my best friends for a lil bit.

I planned my journey, picked a date, size, etc. My hair actually started loc'n & budding super fast. Normally with braids I always had to be careful because my hair would start loc'n then after a month. But within 2 months I was budding. I'm now 8 days shy of 6 months & my hair is growing super fast, healthy & it's pretty much loc'd about 90% towards the end of each one. I have a few that have complete loc'd all the way to the end minus the new growth. But I love you hair BTW it's beautiful & you now have a new sub!!

Thank you for watching! I really can't remember just how quickly my locs started to bud, but I know it was definitely around the 6 month window, maybe even earlier. My hair is pretty thick, so it didn't take long at all. As for starting, I was just fed up with the protective styles, sat down, and got starter locs with no plans lol. Yes for the healthy hair! Happy early 6 months!

Helloooooo🖐🏽 i want locs but im afraid of commitment 😅 so im treating my 2 strand twist LIKE locs, i keep them in for the month then take it out and go again and i love it cause it gives kind of a loc look but with no commitment😁

Hiiiiii 😬 Lol, that's a really smart workaround until you're 100% ready for locs. It's definitely a commitment for sure. Whenever you're ready, I'll be here! 😊
