I say all of this with love ❤ 1. Never tell someone to pay you “whatever, whenever they can”……set your pricing and add tax 2. Have an attorney make multiple contracts for your clients to sign as well to include pay rate/date, breaks per 4-8 hr increments, qualifications for cancellations and deposits required based on project type and length for you and anyone you contract to help. 3. Make sure you have insurance on your equipment. Make sure the deductible if broken on set is understood to be added to the total bill. 4. Do not work if you are not paid. 5. Pay attention to what others who’ve worked with the client says and use that to tailor your contract as well. 6. If your safety is compromised add that 50% of the daily rate is required for pay. 7. Make them sign an NDA as well and never come to social media again about a client ……. High end clients will not work with you if they see things like this and I want you to go far. YOUR WORK IS AMAZING AND I AM PROUD OF YOU ❤ KEEP GOING
