Why I switched to FUJI's GFX 50R

One year ago, I made a radical change in my photographic life. This is where I start to share my journey switching from a few DSLRs to Fujifilm's GFX system in general with the 50R in particular.

Ah, man. There is a gfx 50r calling me and prices dropped so much that I could sell my x100vi, buy the 50r and have some money left over. I don't need medium format and I got the x pro3 and x100vi. I think I will wait for the rumoured gfx fixed lens camera or the x pro4

Go for it. Or a 50S with IBIS. Or a 100S? The prices are dropping like crazy. But beware, once you start using GFX X-mount becomes difficult to tolerate. :)))

@@gfxced yeah, the 50S II is cheap now as well and that fucker has IBIS, but I don't dig the design. I would prefer the rangefinder style or at least the old SLR without pasm dials

@@venom2k2 the 50R is definitely workable if you enjoy slower paced photography. I just got a GFX 100 but I'm keeping the 50R, it's going to be my Xpro in GFX form. X-mount I can't do it anymore, at all. It's like asking someone who switched from M43 to FF if they ever want to go back... Impossibru!

This is exactly by what I've been dreaming about, get the rumored GFX rangefinder and the xpro4 when they comes out. Tell stories with the Xpro4 & use the GFX for the pretty stuff.
