My late husband took his life in 1990. I became a widow at 32. Back then it was a subject not to be talk about and hid. My family was totally ignore and treated us like our grief was non existent because of how he died. My boys, his mother and I mourn his death like any other loss.

The last 10 minutes of this podcast was the BEST WORK and the most meaningful thing that’s come from this podcast… In my opinion. My mom is no longer with me and I’m no longer in the Young category, (just turned 41) but I feel mentored by this podcast. I don’t always agree lol, sometimes what she says stings, but I’m always inclined to listen. I’d like to think that this is advice a mother figure would give me❤

Very Sad! I had a coworker, committed suicide 12-31-2019. I saw the change in her demeanor, 2 weeks before. I Reached out to her and even called and alerted others. Unfortunately, she didn’t see year 2020. 🙏🏽😔

I felt that his wife knows something because you don't live and date someone for a decade and not know they're troubled or their troubles...Make it make sense! I think more will be revealed or if possible, intentionally hidden. It is their personal business, so they are not obligated to share. He's so beloved, so difficult to accept blind. 😥💝

Interesting commentary. I’d like to say what you’re not saying. I sense you intuitively know like many of us that there’s no way tWitch left this life willingly. I feel something sinister like perhaps black mail or extortion to the point of possibly threatening to harm his family was happening and he gave up his life to protect them. Whatever the case people are not easily fooled, and like you said if his family and wife didn’t see any signs of him taking his life that’s that speaks volumes over any narrative in the press or social media. I’m sorry he’s gone and send my eternal prayers to his family.

Since I heard my thoughts have been similar. Not necessarily he was or was going to be blackmailed but there was something in his past that came back to haunt him and whatever it was, he felt hopeless. Whether to correct it, keep it hidden or able to still be seen the same if it came out, whatever it was. I’m also sure, someone who loved him and was close, knows what it is, maybe they all do (wife, mother, grandfather) Thank you not only for your common sense assessment but also your commentary on real riches

I have followed Twitch for years and when I heard that he died by suicide I was very surprised, but also very suspicious of the circumstances. I've been battling Bi-Polar illness now for 60 years. When his death was announced as a suicide l was confused as to why? I wondered about this for a few days and thought to myself more then likely he wanted to hide something he truly believed would end his career. Found your Broadcast today and was so relieved that someone else thinks this is a possible reason for his suicide. Common sense is a critical thinking skills we all should embrace. It took me a long long time to understand the simplicity of Common Sense. When I did grasp it my suicide ideation almost disappeared completly. Gratefully I don't feel like I'm a threat to myself now. Thank You Again. You have a new follower here. You are a Wise Woman!

I don't understand why his wife didn't notify police for 24hrs. I'm sure she knew something was very wrong when he didn't return or call after a few hours let alone all night. I have compassion and sympathy for his entire family during this time. I must say something does not add up.

I love the way you methodically broke this down. I mirror what you said, like the way you articulated it. I believe it was a dark secret that he didn't want to be exposed. I poured over the pictures and with the recent info about how the wife is handling the estate and the recent family conflict; I feel like something centers around the eldest daughter.

Your opinion is interesting and may give insight into why people have difficulty accepting his death by suicide. I agree that he may have been blackmailed by someone who had a private video of an extramarital or homosexual affair. This may have been a circumstantial suicide in that case. Something so devastating that might ruin his marriage and family. Still depression and anxiety would add to his feeling that he should end his life. We need to be careful though because this is all conjecture….

I honestly believe he was struggling with his sexual identity and had been all his kife.Often times black men that grow up in church that may struggle with same gender attractions are usually unhappy. They try everything they can to chenge. Some even go so far as to marry to appear to be quote unquote normal. They constantly wrestle with same sex attraction while battling mentally their spiritual beliefs. Unfortunately when we no longer have control we may seek to to find the answer to the problem. And Unfortunately the alternative is to cease to exist, exit this world.Silence the noises and passions kn our minds.Instead of going to therapy some men decide to end it all. After feeling helpless and holpless

MVMO, I really like your commentary and had similar thoughts on the case. I hear folks saying his note didn't make sense, but I would posit that his note didn't make sense to us. We don't know the nuances of his relationship and that note probably makes perfect sense to his family. He left the note for them not us. When I first heard the reporting that the wife went frantically to the police because he left his car, at the time I thought that the response seemed a bit extreme. But not my business until they share more, should they decide to.
