I started my journey working with Cubase. Later, I realised that all the major studios are working with Pro Tools, so I started to learn how to use it, so I could be “part of the gang”, and be able to work in those big facilities.
When I switched to Pro Tools, I felt that something was missing. Pro Tools felt really stable and reliable, but it was never quite friendly as Cubase.
Later I found out about Nuendo. Nuendo had all that was missing in Cubase in terms of post production functionality, but with all the advantages that I found in Pro Tools.
I still use Pro Tools and Nuendo. In this video I explain why, and how I choose which DAW to work with, based on the properties and needs of the project.
