Tony Turner Her death will NEVER EVER sit well with me either. She was on her way to the top in singing, dancing, modeling, and acting. She would’ve had much greater success. I wish she never filmed “Rock The Boat” in the Bahamas. It wasn’t even necessary to leave the country but she was pushed up to do it. She’s my favorite female artist and it hurts to know that her death could’ve easily been avoided. I’m not buying the whole bullshit story about how Aaliyah and her crew argued to get on the plane. Why THE FUCKKKKK would you wanna board a plane after being told it’s gonna be overweight??? Why?? Something is mad fishy about the whole situation. I believe the truth is gonna come out. It may not be tomorrow or even 15 years from now, but one day we’re gonna know the real truth. Aaliyah was really robbed of both her life and her career man.... goddamn. Aaliyah was and is the prototype and the blueprint for young female singers that sing and dance. Her impact can never be denied. People try to hate and belittle her career and influence but I don’t pay attention to that garbage cuz we all know the truth.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I feel the exact same way about Aaliyah’s death as you do. I was 9 years old at the time of her death. I was just a casual fan of hers, when it first happened. My mom bought the One In A Million album and the self titled album, so I was a little familiar with her. But when Aaliyah died, it seemed like the world just stopped. Like what just happened? I was just listening to this person and all of a sudden she dies? When I was digesting the information I asked my mom if I could have her Aaliyah CDs. She said I could have them. Ever since then, I have been a ride or die fan of Aaliyah. No one could talk bad about her to me or I would get really upset. I’m a Capricorn like Aaliyah. My birthday is the day after hers. I feel like that I have a connection with her, for some reason and that feeling hasn’t left me. About Aaliyah’s death, I feel like her uncle has something to do with it. Don’t ask me why, it’s just a feeling that I have. Have you ever noticed that everyone that has dealt with Hankerson has nothing good to say about him? Aaliyah’s mother and brother have nothing to do with him, as far as I know. Every artist from Blackground Records, has had issues with their albums, not just Aaliyah. And Timbaland has never gotten over what happened to Aaliyah. He said in interviews that he had, had an argument with her before she left, and when he was going to apologize to her, that was when he got the news of her passing. I think that the argument that they had was about her uncle. Aaliyah was a very kind, sweet person. She didn’t want to believe that her uncle would be so shady and underhanded. She wanted to believe the best in everyone. I can go on and on about Aaliyah, and what I think about her death if I had the opportunity
@marilynking33504 жыл бұрын
Her uncle had nothing to do with her death she was his money maker and he loved her he still cried for her years after she died and she was NOT! About to leave blackground records! There's no source at all that she says she is you people said the same thing about Tupac and how he was going to leave death row records but when did he say that!? Never! Why can't you people accept the fact God called her home

I have to agree a little with Marilyn King, why would he have something to do with Aaliyah's death? But with that being said, the man is crazy. And crazy people do crazy things. Like how he blew up his girlfriends car... How he had to be sued by several artists who used to look up to him, and most importantly not releasing Aaliyah's albums. Instead selling it to random companies because he was deep in debt. An unhappy miserable man he is, even the family doesn't keep in contact with him. I believe he had something to do with her death. But everyone is entitled to their opinions. Because after all it could've just been an accident gone wrong. My hope is that Aaliyah gets her justice (Whatever that may be) and that her albums are released so her legacy can live on. So ridiculous man, lmao.

I feel weird as a fan because I really only started appreciating her as an artist in a big way right after her passing in 2001 when I was 14. I remember seeing some of her videos throughout the years as a young kid in the 90s like One in a Million, Are You that Somebody? and Try Again and enjoying them casually. When I saw the news about her passing, I immediately felt a shock through my body like something very unnatural had happened and having this profound confusion about it. I felt innately how they were reporting the crash was not the whole story and/or was just straight up false. Now reflecting on it 20 years later in my 30s I still feel the same way and it makes even less sense. I’ve honestly been watching all sorts of videos covering what happened the day of the crash and finding so much conflicting info. Since there seems to be no clear answers as to what happened that day it makes it harder to accept her passing especially since she peaking in her career. She was a light in this world and when her light went out I felt it intensely. It’s rare that these sort of intense feelings ever happen to me whether it be with someone famous or not. All we can do now is celebrate her life and the influence she has had on us. I try to remember her seemingly effortless cool and presence when I’m in difficult situations. RIP Baby Girl. Call me crazy but that was a murder. Why would they book a fraudulent airline that had a history of using stolen parts and violating safety codes? (Even before the Aaliyah tragedy).. and then the pilot had no permit to fly and was coked up? It’s like it was a planned set up. And THEN, they had an “anonymous” call about orders to not weigh the plane? And then, why would the “video equipment” fly with Aaliyah But none of the video crew flew with her? And the RTB video reel was still safe? Doesn’t make sense.

Tony Turner another thing is her half assed autopsy report it wasn’t fully reported it was more like they announced it but her full autopsy has never been full reported or has it been given to reporters to even be reported so were is this girl’s autopsy why hasn’t it been fully reported like is there more to the story than what has been reported to all of us , & her reported injuries is even questionable as well to me to be honest .
@CandanceOnline4 жыл бұрын
Talking about she had a head injury, heart attack, burns , the burns would be the usual been in a plane crash but heart attack & head injury don’t seem right , her going into shock ok sounds right because you’re been thrown 20 ft from the crash & maybe her head injury was caused by her landing on impact I don’t know but a heart attack is like ok why would a healthy 22 year old have a heart attack, they reported it as if she had a prelong health condition with her heart that don’t seem right due to Aaliyah been a damn good dancer , so you mean to tell me this girl suffered from a heart condition but was able to dance her ass off that doesn’t sound right like come on people something isn’t right here .

She’s the most beautiful woman to grace the planet But God brought back the angel she is for a reason. Her upbringing and other factors were terrible. Maybe in the future with the jealousy things could have gotten worse. She still accomplished so much in a short span though and was destined for further greatness. I found your channel recently and love your videos and topics. It’s great I found it cuz over the last couple of weeks I’ve really dove into her story more. I’ve literally been watching all of your Aaliyah video’s and I feel like I’m now a fan of how much your a fan of Aaliyah because that makes two of us. I’ve commented on about 4 video’s and you must be annoyed lmao. But all jokes aside though, Aaliyah’s death will never sit well with me either. I get that people have a “time” when to go but it definitely wasn’t her time, too many inconsistencies in that death didn’t make sense, like it really didn’t make no sense and still doesn’t. She literally died at the HEIGHT of her career, at least with these others celebrities they got to make their MARK MARK before they passed. Yes Aaliyah made her mark and she’s legendary period to all of the Aaliyah fans but she didn’t get to fully cross over if you get what I mean in this world. Rock the boat was the beginning of her newest self, she was about to BLOW and for it to all end it’s just depressing. That was definitely unfair, and a good point you brought up when you said “people make Aaliyah death Jokes likes it’s funny”. I had to clock someone on Twitter because a person had put up 4 albums (Aaliyah’s album included) and captioned it “one has to go” and an ignorant person said “well I think that decision is already made” and I dragged them, like it’s just so disrespectful when people do shit like that to her especially when she paved the way for artists today. Anywho, I’m just glad she’s still relevant today, she is remembered as a full on entertainer and she left a mark that nobody can duplicate. Ask me if there’s anyone that looks or sounds like Aaliyah, better yet was original like she was? I’ll wait.😔🤞🏾

I'm a huge fan of Aaliyah because she was such an inspiration for young lady. She had went through so much and regardless of all the trauma she endured she pushed through and thrived in her short career she did so much in such little time. It's just a shame that she passed away in such a tragic way. And it's that enigma of the question what if she didn't pass away 20 years ago? What would she have accomplished if she would have not taken that plan if she would have not been forced to get on the plane. We need not only to continue to show her legacy all that she worked for and died for not only for us but for future generations because honestly with cardi b and Megan the stallion this generation in the future generation have that to look up to and there's something wrong with their music I'm not trying to slut shame at all but nowadays it's like sex sells instead of classy Beauty and actual talent. Because Aaliyah had that edgy tomboy / cute girly style but she didn't have to show ass or to over sexualize yourself to express her talents to express herself to actually have a fan base. And it's just like her death as well as Selena and Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson those that died leaving unfinished business when it came to their career or leaving far too soon it's like the left that. And then how she passed in such a tragic way it's heartbreaking so much mystery in it as well. We have so many questions and no answers. I can go on and on I hate when people compare and contrast Aaliyah with Beyoncé and a lot of people do that because of Jay z and the relationship that both singers shared with him. The personally I feel like because Aaliyah rejected Jay z prior to her passing chose Damon dash that ended Damon Dash's and Jay Z's friendship and partnership and Beyoncé was pretty much like second best to Jay z that's what I feel. But it's like you can't compare apples and oranges they both are talented in their own way I personally think Aaliyah has more talent than Beyoncé but that is my personal opinion. I just wish her mother would stop being so greedy and actually allow Barry hankerson her uncle to release her music and I think they did release it last year 2021. But for the longest time Barry was fighting with her mother because she used excuse over excuse to not allow him to release her music and he finally said screw it and released it that's something she wanted she would have never have wanted her family or anybody to hinder her fans from her music her music was her life. So many unanswered questions it's unfortunate

Everything does happen for a reason. That was very unreasonable. A plane crash. U mean to tell me that no one could do a drug test on the pilot? U mean to tell me that u couldn't limit certain equipment on the fukin plane. There were 8 or 9 people. Don't know the exact number, but it's accurate. They said when the coroner found her corpse, she had like several burns that were severe, and took a huge "blow" to the head. They said even if she survived, it would be nearly impossible for her to recover. Not only her, her crew and her hairstylist. It's a shame that after all these years, that even when she died, people still hate on her. Now if wasn't sweet and nice and caring and modest. People would bash her name and legacy in a heartbeat. If she was a mean person when she was alive, y'all would say negativity. She was a very generous, caring, thoughtful, authentic, nice, kind, and relentless and compassionate person that was humble to the depths of the earth. Very cool, chill, and very gorgeous and intellectual and hot and all of everything positive. People still bash her name, mock her, laugh at her tombstone, the R. Kelly situation won't be put to a cease. God came through and saved BabyGirl from all this madness of the world. Her legacy needs to flourish and be better than what is. Her brother is working extremely hard to push his little sister's legacy out as it should. God's name is above all name, Jesus is King. Aaliyah should be getting a lot of support towards the estate. She should be worthy of that. She is my favorite singer ever. I'm a huge fan of her music. Let that shit of Beyonce Vs Aaliyah go! Like damn, how many times can y'all mafukas bring that up. I honestly think that her record company / her uncle had something to do with it because the record company was going under. And A’aliyah was actually getting ready to leave her record label, and you should also know that the plane ✈️ A’aliayh took wasn’t the regular plane assigned to her the actually flight was a bigger plane that was coming the next da. Also it was the airlines responsibility to deny her the right to that flight ✈️ because it wasn’t even the correct airplane for passengers smdh i felt it was a setup by her evil ass uncle this also why her music isn’t on Apple Music ect because he want allow it. The island A’aliyah and her crew was on the hotel had very poor conditions and they didn’t even have running water that’s one of the major reasons for them wanting to leave early and how can a plot fly an airplane when his license was expired and he wasn’t even trained to fly although he was on drugs he was hired by another airline smdh somebody wasn’t doing their job

Well all I can say from the time when I laid eyes on her in the Back and Forth and At Your Best(you are love) remix video I knew she was a star and something very special/ unique. From that moment to One In A Million I was hooked. No one sounded, looked or danced like her. Aaliyah was in a class of her own literally. Then she graced the Oscar legendary stage in 1998 and made history and we all especially in Detroit were like our girl made it for real now. Fast forward to romeo must die and Aaliyah era the young teen Aaliyah we knew grew up and blossomed into every man's leading lady and every women's leading sister. She became a woman yet with grace, style, youthfulness, maturity, and humbleness and was set for MEGA STARDOM but..... then it all ended abruptly. I then at age 14 and still at age 33 feel that she was murdered. For what reasons that remains a guess from all of us, but I feel 1000% our girl was murdered and we were robbed of a beautiful life that was about to play out before our very own eyes for generations to come. I celebrate her and always still remember her but God knows I know what I know and I know she was murdered and tooken away from us physically.

I think Aaliyah was on to leave the label and her uncle was like 'nah now I can't be living without making money she's my most successful artist and I don't want her to make someone else money so I will set her death up so I'll still make money after she dies'' I think that always when artist wanna leave label before they had too the label don't like it idk how true this is but I've read it somewhere so I wanted to share it

U speakin facts 💯 kobe and aaliyah death will never make sense don't matter how hard you try the puzzle pieces will never be put together everytime I look at a video of aaliyah she was hypnotizing and put me in a relaxed state we were robbed of her prime and getting to watch her blossom she had a focused vision of what she wanted to do unfortunately the record label she was with was very greedy and only seen her as profit like pretty much the whole greedy music business you seen the way Michael jackson was treated after reaching a certain amount of potency owning the Beatles catalog and half of Sony then all of sudden his image is getting destroyed with a bunch of false allegations that has been proven and not to be true and only a way of breaking him down mentally also u seen how the tabloid junkies was all on his ass with his changin appearances and surgeries which some of the biggest reasons of his changing appearance was because of him having lupus and by this point everybody knows that he had vitiligo that he couldn't control when his hair had caught on fire during that Pepsi commercial that really affected his life causing him to rely on a bunch of medications because he was in pain you already know how the ignorant media tries to manipulate us with bullshit and believe it the best route to go is to be independent havin your own control of your vision learn the game before u play it the good always die young rip to babygirl 1979-2001 ❤ she was a one in a million frfr 💯 no matter we will always keep aaliyah spiritually alive like many of the other greats who have passed away to early past times is something we cannot defeat history only repeat itself so make sure you utilize new experiences that is given to you give people their flowers 🥀 🥀 while still being here alive and healthy no cap I always believe Aaliyah was killed she was surrounded with alot of jealousy if Mary j blige said Aaliyah was killed then it's gotta be some truth to it Mary was already a pro when she had said that she already been knew how the industry worked

The Industry set her up to be killed she couldn't be blackmailed because of the marriage scandal so after closing that chapter her life and career begin to bloom and the swimming up to the sun in the Rock The Boat Video represented enlightenment, peace of mind, goodwill, tranquility, insight, and fortune. The sun brings out the divine power and radiant energy her star was going to be huge! There was a singer named Melanie Thornton of Le Bouche who died 3 months after Aaliyah she had the house song Be My Lover she later became a a success in Europe and died eerily in a plane crash.... that never sat well with me either a Beautiful Black Woman that can sing and dominating the pop charts in Europe that's huge she beat out alot of her non black conterparts it's jealousy and pure evil in the music industry for blacks!

Aaliyahs transition is something that hit us so heavy and so unexpectedly I remember my energy being off that entire week I was feeling like something was going to happen but I couldn’t quite put my finger on it I was at home at the time of hearing about her transition I was telling everyone that week all my friends about how I wasn’t feeling so good I was like something is going to happen to someone in the music world that we all know and love true story frfr they was like what you tripping but Ik what I was feeling I don’t know why I received that spiritual message but I did but never in a million years did I think it was going to be AALIYAH I was off guard with it so later on that evening after school I went home and chilled I remember cleaning up my room listening to the radio 📻 WGCI to be exact my granny was watching tv in the living room then my granny called me in the living room she was yelling as if we had lost a family member she was like come come here Aaliyahs dead they just announced it on the news I’m like no no they didn’t say it on the radio my granny was like it’s true so I didn’t wanna believe it so I went back in my room and their it was loud and clear as the guy from the radio spoke it from his own mouth with such a sadness and shock of what he just told us I remember falling to my knees as my hear dropped I had never felt such a painful feeling like that since the day my mom died in 1997 I’m was only 10 when she transitioned I remember thinking to my self is this what I was feeling that whole week is this the message I was receiving it hurt me so bad to see someone I looked up loved like a family member be taken away in such a horrible way I loved her so much and I still do

The pilot was put there to make the story of Aaliyah's death seem legitimately accidental! Experience or not. He had no problem flying into the bahamas with that plane. How is it that it crashes immediately after taking off?🤔 No drugs, alcohol, inexperience or weight caused this crash! This was simply an organized murder.. Btw Aaliayh was leaving the bahamas to head to a studio to remix her song "more than a woman" with Damn dash and his artist freeway who apparently were waiting for her! I feel like everyone around her at that time is questionable at this point.. Too many suspects!

Her death never sat right with me either. I was super young when I heard about it I was listening to the radio on the quiet storm when they announced it and cried my eyes out I loved her, still do. She was afraid of planes and flying so it makes it even more messed up because you know she was terrified in those final moments, I believe they reported that she had a heart attack before passing. The circumstances were always unbelievable. You would think they would've gotten a private jet for her. Her choreographer said she got a bad feeling about the plane and decided not to get on, why didn't she convey that to Aaliyah and get her to wait another day? I've heard Dame Dash was pressuring her to get back early because he missed her. I wish she would've stuck to the scheduled plane for everyone. If in fact someone did set it up even if she didn't get on that plane, if they were determined enough they would've set her up some other way.

There are just way too many inconsistencies. She had a known fear of small planes so if people are saying there was an argument regarding weight and too much luggage. I’m pretty sure she her or SOMEONE who was with her that day would have said something. I still find it odd that this video was scheduled just when none of her family could accompany her as they always did. And when you look at the accident photos, if the plane had all this extra luggage why don’t I see any of that in the crash scene photos?? 🤨 just a piece of my mind. I could go all day

It was extremely hard to find closure when we had a National tragedy two weeks after. I think it left me having never fully healed from losing one of my favorite artists. And then no celebrations, rereleases, documentaries worthy of her name... it’s just left a huge void in the music industry that I don’t think has ever been filled or repaired.

This comment hit different. We saw a similar scenario with KZbin singer Christina Grimmie. She was shot killed in a murder-suicide by an obsessed fan in Orlando, and the day or two later, the Pulse shooting in Florida also happened. While Christina wasn’t huge, she also was only 22 and died tragically right before another tragedy that overshadowed her death. And us Aaliyah fans know what that’s like. It’s good that changes have happened since this video, with her music etc, but there’s still more work to do (especially behind the scenes… lol).

Well now they saying someone gave aaliyah a pill cuz she had a headache from everyone arguing about getting on the plane cuz they was in a rush to get home. They also said someone carried her on the plane after she fell asleep from the pill. For years ppl was saying damon dash sacrificed her but i never believed that due to how hurt he was after her passing. I think her uncle and virgin records set her up. Aaliyah also said herself that she was afraid of riding on smaller planes (according to rashad and damon dash). So thats how i know someone made her get on it. Another thing i found fishy was why did the 13 y old who was working for that taxi company say that after the accident happened he was told never to say anything about it. I think her uncle wanted that insurance money cuz i heard he got alot of money after she died and that's the reason i believe diane fell out with him and stop talking to him in years. This how i look at it if u can subject your niece to predator /let them be alone and get married cuz u saw the dollars coming in, then of course youd sacrifice her for that 90 million insurance money

Aaliyah's death will never sit right with anybody because it could have been avoided there's so many things that were left on so many people that witnessed things that are are still being silenced. So many questions like it was originally planned for them to fly out of the Bahamas back to Miami the following day after shooting. The private chat that she died on it wasn't the original jet that she came to the Bahamas on it wasn't even the same pilot that was literally scheduled last minute and she protested it like there's two different stories. One story is that she protested getting on the plane she wasn't going to fly on it because she was supposed to fly out the phone with that she had her suspicions now one story said that somebody called her after she finished shooting and told her that Damon dash was in a very horrific car accident and the brink of life and death in a hospital in Miami and that was the reason flew out I had a schedule. But later on it was confirmed that Damon dash wasn't even in Miami he was in York and he had no idea about the phone call they don't even know who called her who said that lie who let her to her death. Second it was known that the pilot of that plane had a lot of prior citations for drug use he wasn't even certified to fly that type of plane he wasn't even supposed to be on the air and even regardless of that and whatever drugs are found in the system with that could have been faked he protested and did not want to fly them out because of the weight he refused to fly them out because of how much overweight they were just on people alone they were hundreds of pounds over rate and he protested it. It ended up that her Entourage argued with him it wasn't even Aaliyah and they ended up flying anyways. The other story is that she had not wanted to fly on the plane she had her suspicions when it came to how beat up that plane looked and she refused to get on the plane she just would rather wait until the following day I scheduled. Somebody of her entitled her a pill because she complained about a headache earlier that day and that pill knocked her out there's witnesses that said that they give her pill they witnessed the argument prior and they witnessed them carrying an unconscious Aaliyah onto the plane and witnessing the crash not even minutes after taking off. Those witnesses words the driver that drove them from the video shoot to the airports and her son was 13 years old at the time. Both the driver and her son who is now an adult we're not only silenced right then and there because they tried to talk to authorities about it and somebody silenced them but to this day because the then 13 year old now he's a grown adult wanted to come out with his story again especially after her 20-year anniversary of her death he was silenced once again. He had posted a video on KZbin explaining his story once again with evidence and the video was mysteriously deleted off of KZbin and channel was pretty much band. I feel like her death was planned that was no accident. Isn't it ironic how years after her death shortly after her death r Kelly went on trial for his first case with the 14-year-old girl. And one of the main victims of his that could have collaborated in her testimony would have literally sent him to prison right then and there died in a tragic way and with silenced. And then shortly after her death her father the only person that actually loved her and tried to fight for her because Diane her mother she only cared about the money. He died shortly after Aliyah too that have a heart attack. Now all that Berry hankerson is saying now is that his sister Diana knows more than what she's leading on. This man has no need or reason to lie upon her. He has nothing to hide like he already gave his testimony of what he knew about r Kelly during the trial and I'm pretty sure he was the one that released the sex tape video as of payback for what r Kelly did to his niece. I feel like Aaliyah's death has something to do with r Kelly his circle that allowed him to be such a predator all the money he had and Diane.
@alaniadayneenortiz38062 жыл бұрын
And the crazy thing even before the rumors was r Kelly and Aaliyah there was rumors before that about his sick ways. Now Barry hankerson was married to Gladys Knight and Gladys Knight would let Alia sing and open some of her shows and she tried to die and be a mentor to Aaliyah but once that marriage and did Mary hankerson got in the way and blocked him like I don't get it. Gladys Knight has more of a following and more Fame than r Kelly will ever have but if it wasn't for very hankerson trying to blow up Gladys Knight and being crazy and blocking that opportunity it was like leaving her like a lamb to the slaughter. So you pretty much are going to sell your niece Diane sold her daughter her little girl to some sick creditor for money and then when shit hit the fan and her career was almost ruined that was when not only they got her marriage annulled but they took a settlement for her silence. Instead of getting Justice for their daughter Diane and Michael took the money like they say the money is the root of all evil. And it's sad because unfortunately as much as we don't want to her legacy will always be tied to r Kelly because somehow I have a feeling her death is connected to him too he still had a lot of money and a lot of connections

You damn right , you are so damn right , I was 18 when she died and I’m now in my 30’s & I’ve just now in 2019 had to go back& read the old articles and reports & even my sister read a few articles to & we both said her death was a set up because nothing makes sense of her death I personally believe she was murdered.

Aaliyah is the one that kept Barry's name alive after her death he died too don't nobody in this generation know him 🤣🤣 people still trying to keep him and r Kelly relevant for what like wtffff 😒 sometimes I could just be sitting in my room and Aaliyah the name of this randomly pop up in my head and I start thinking about her death like I said once before it was a set up because if she didn't feel comfortable why was y'all still let her go and that's why I hate planes I've always had a fair planes and Aaliyah death called that to be honest I don't even feel safe in cars lol I wasn't even alive when Aaliyah died but looking at all the old videos set up is the only thing that goes to my head it was a setup her family saw her up to get money off of herrr you're worth more while you dead than alive that's why I don't have too many people in my circle because he be the closest ones to you and what's 911 happened I was definitely not about to get on no plane clients give me anxiety the first time my dad flew on a plane I couldn't stop crying because I didn't know what was going to happen to be honest I'm happy that you made this page cuz I get to speak my mind because if I said anything about this to my parents they would think I'm crazy 😂😂

dude, I cant get over Aaliyah and Jet Li not having the chance to date in real life. Man, I like how they had great chemistry in Romeo Must Die. It'll be the GREATEST swirl of the 2000s

Great video! I feel the same way. Although, I know Babygirl is in a better place I still feel sad about her. I have Aaliyah's merchandise and I represent of course. But yes, you really covered a lot of things related to her passing. Aaliyah really accomplished so much in her music career. And to see people bashing her legacy is really messed up! I don't even entertain UGLY trolls online when they come for her. But sometimes I REMIND them to chill out because Aaliyah came from an era of TALENT and real music. She wasn't some "cookie cutter" artist like we hear nowadays. The fanbases from other artists are ignorant. And they try to disrespect the artists that came BEFORE their faves period! Even their faves are INFLUENCED by the artists that paved the way. Aaliyah's INFLUENCE is still relevant today. I see and saw artists even acknowledged their admiration for Aaliyah. And they spoke highly of her. Aaliyah's legacy will NOT go in vain. That's why the REAL fans like us do what it do. We lost a gem in music period!!! She wasn't some pretty face NAH bro she had the TALENT and the charisma. Aaliyah was focused on her music career. It's sad that ignorant mofos always talk slick about her but let this SINK in really these artists current of today are INSPIRED by the artists that came before them. Now, there are some artists that played into the ignorance with their own personal egos. Now it's all a damn JOKE in the music business. This bullshit about charts and popularity is getting TIRING period. People want to hear the MUSIC and support those artists with TALENT and I'm over the bullshit. However, Aaliyah's passing still bothers me too. I think about her a lot but I know that she would be proud to have fans like #TeamAaliyah that will FOREVER support her. Her legacy will be cherished respectfully. We need to get her biopic in the future. Her family needs to think about this as well but I know it's up to them. Aaliyah needs to have a biopic so this generation will KNOW who she was in music and what she accomplished. There's so much foolery going on on the internet and I feel it's up for fans to take the reigns and support their favorite artists. Everything now is filled with gutter trash. Smh! I respect your opinion Tony. I remember I was in elementary school when I heard Aaliyah's passing. That will forever stick with me as well. I'm glad you continue to support Babygirl and keep her legacy alive! I will do the same as well. I enjoyed this video!!! #TeamAaliyah
