PS5 Slim is for the people who don't own a PS5 yet, instead of getting the fat older version, why not the new slim version? Lighter, Smaller and Slimmer, have a physical eject disc button and a physical power button, and it's not taking too much space on my TV stand shelf, and because of it's small size the cooling fan can cool the whole system inside and pretty well ventilated without buying a third party cooling fan to attach on it's back. It's definitely an upgrade, but it's not worth it if you own the old fat version already, there's no difference in software. But if you don't have any PS5 yet, you can see the Slim was definitely an upgrade version in terms of hardware, you can easily change the disc drive or remove it to make it look like the same as digital PS5 Slim version, just need the separate cover that you can buy separately online that it's designated for the digital slim version.

Di ko na kaylangan ng ps5 s kung meron naman akong Ps5 kung pareho lang naman sila ng spect dipa naman laos ang ps5 ang mahalaga lang nakakapaglaro ka ng ps5 nakakasawa lang din kasi hindi naman lahat ng laro kaya kung bilhin at bisi rin para mag laro ng ps5 kaya nag iisteamdeck nalang ako para malaro din ang emulator saka markiting strategy lang yan ng sony purpose money katulad ng ps portal 😂

Did you managed to open up the 1st Version of PS5 to say that the air circulation is better than slim? I think the heatsink is doing it's job not the size nor the space inside...

Mrun akung ps5 fat…dito ko nabili sa saudi jarir..after 1yr inuwi ko sa pinas..grabe ung init ng ps5 ko dku alam bkit subrang init ng unit ko habang naglalaru..hndi naman un ganun dito sa saudi..also may aircon din ako sa pinas..hangang bumigay ung ps5 ko..nag overheat ayaw na gumana d na nagbubukas..ngaun bumili ako bagong ps5 slim..sana magtagal…

for me better cooling ang slim. i have PS5 OG tinututukan kopa ng mini fan mainit sa back side exhaust nya eh. smaller form factor easy way to cool down. WIFI 6 and storage talaga advantage ni slim sa aesthetics naman nothing beats the OG ika nga.

Pre own slim kasi most probably hindi vertical ang position nung ginamit nung first owner kasi may problem sa liquid metal si ps5 napupunta sa isang place lang kapag naka vertical position at mas prone sa overheat

sa akin unang ps5 slim ko 2months unit nag ka issue ako sa connector nang drive drive to board mismo mali kasi pag tanggal ko nang disk drive sa slim CFI 2000 model and japan release nag tanong ako warranty sa service center ayon hindi covered and CFI 2018 model lang covered nila sa warranty local. pwede pa naman ma repair kaso wala pang available na parts for now puros digital games nalang ako compare sa disk parang convenient pa sa akin kasi nag barbarko and madali e pack up lang nasa loob na lahat nang games bumili nalang ako nang extrang 2TB SSD and yung cover plate change ko nalang sa digital.😂 for share ko lang na exp ko first time ko kasi ma siraan nang unit lucky naman yung socket lang nang disk drive hindi lang muna ma repair kasi wala pa available na parts maybe a year pa daw..😅

I have got PS plus and can access on my PS5 (fat and slim) and PS4 (fat, slim and pro)… Remember you are allowed to activate 2 consoles but can only register one console as primary. I have a PSN account and I use it to access PS store for PS4/PS5 games and occasionally I visit PS3 store with it too.

Yung nga boss mahirap na Ngayon mag hanap ng ps5 fat dahil inubos na ng ibang mga gaming store para palitan ng slim unless kung bibili ka ng second hand sa Facebook Opinion kulang dahil may slim Ako gusto ko sana Kunin Yung ps5 fat version pero de ko na mahanap sa physical store🤷

magkakatalo yan sa heating issues since mas maliit yung slim, mas madali yan mag overheat kesa sa unang version. Money wise i will buy the old one since same lang den naman ng specs. pinag kaiba lang talaga sa customization ng slim.

Money wise mas mura since same lang naman sila ng processor. edi yung sobra na ibibili mo sa slim. pwede mo pa ipambili ng psplus or cd.

Boss gaano ba ka-effective ang cooling system ng og ps5? For background lang, hindi kasi ako maaircon na tao I can get by and sleep at night with just a simple electric fan. Kaso bumili ako ng ps5 nung last december sale and everytime maglalaro ako ino-on ko na din ang aircon dahil inaalala ko baka “overheat” ang ps5. Pero pagtapos netong summer at bumalik na sa normal ang panahon ang gusto ko sana wag ng magbukas ng aircon habang naglalaro. Anong thoughts mo dito boss? NOTE: nakapwesto yung ps5 ko sa tv rack na open, hindi sya enclosed, although yung usual na me dingding sa likod

Kaylangan mag lagay ka ng wall fan sa ibabaw ng tv mo kung nakalapag lang ang ps5 sa tabi ng tv o kaya naman tapatan mo din ng elektrikpan ganyan lang may exus fan naman yan

Make sure you place it where there is enough gap from the wall so the internal fan is not sucking up warm recirculated air. I have mine standing upwards so use a vertical stand to create air gap from the bottom. Also remove the dust build up inside your PS5. Learn how to remove and clean the fan and check for potential insect build up. Also don’t smoke near your PS5… it will suck in fine dust. I use a fan to circulate the or in my room but I have aircon on when it hits 35C. Recommended ambient room temperature is no greater than 35C.

I have all the versions of PS5 (Day 1 version 1, version 2 first released in Australia, Spider-Man version and the latest slim version) Honestly, there is no difference in graphics. All play 4K if you have a 4K tv or monitor. I have not seen a 8K tv or monitor yet.
