WHY INDIA Gifted this ISLAND to SRI LANKA - Kachchatheevu Island

Hey Guys,
In this video, I have shared my experience of visiting Delft Island & Camping on that Island.
Katchatheevu is a 163-acre uninhabited island administered by Sri Lanka and was a territory of India until 1976. The island is located between Neduntheevu, Sri Lanka and Rameswaram, India and has been traditionally used by both Sri Lankan Tamil and Indian fishermen. In 1974, then Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi ceded Katchatheevu to Sri Lanka under the "Indo-Sri Lankan Maritime agreement" aimed at resolving the maritime boundaries in the Palk Strait.Another agreement signed in 1976 restricted both the countries’ fishermen from fishing in the other’s exclusive economic zones.
During the medieval period, this island along with Pamban Island was in the possession of Jaffna Kingdom. From 17th century onwards island used to be a part of the Ramnad Kingdom which existed in Madurai district of India. Later, with British rule on the Indian subcontinent, the island became part of the Madras Presidency.

These trees in bihar are called as "Taar ka per" and juice which comes daily in morning and evening from this is called "TAARI" and a fruit grows on this tree called "Koba" In English palm fruit or ice apple and in Tamil this fruit is called "Nungu".

Rightly said. These are Palm trees, in which TADGOLA a sweet fruit mostly comes in summer. It's like coconut, hard shell outside and 3 soft TADGOLAS inside.

Those trees are called " Toddy Palm" which are quite common in Southern states. The tree produces a intoxicated drink called Toddy (considered healthy) and fruit called ice apple which is a favourite summer fruit in South India.. You could've got easily another 1m subscribers from South India if not there is a language barrier. I belong to Telangana and been with this channel since 30k subscribers. Glad i know Hindi😊

Unlike most parts of the world This region is so steeped in ancient history its a pity there is no initiative to preserve the islands between the two countries. Instead it is used as places for economic benefit. The reason why that katch island was given to srilanka by India..just because of the height of Geo politics that time..at one side..the USA tried their best to make srilanka as an ally..since their b2 base is based on in Diego Garcia which is very near..to srilanka..and tried to operate a base inside srilanka as a detterant to Indian ..on the other side srilanka continue to have close ties with China and Pakistan..this made India furious and acted as a big brother and gifted that island..but with a clause says that the Tamil fishermen have the rights to fish and take rest over there..in the end everything failed..India was furious to know about the double games by srilanka..and started training and supplying various Tamil rebels..ltte was one among them...we just created them to teach a lesson to the little brother..if you do this..this will happen..but too many things went wrong...India has no interest in creating a separate Tamil land..all they care about is to dominate the neighboring nation's..tamils realized that and went on a war with ipkf..past is past..lets forget the past and spread love not war..the sad part is the people forget about the govt established and developed many institutions like bhel..Bel..Hal..iiT..and lot more..and blindly support some political party in the name of religion..now India is surrounded by enemies including Bangladesh and Nepal..China took away thousands of miles..people keep supporting them ..just because of the saviours of the religion..as if like the previous government was run by a minority..
