No we don't...not in the American sense. Why don't you actually learn about what conservatism is actually in the US, Christian nationalism and western chauvanism, what part of that is Asian? Asian people want functioning families, don't talk like liberals/leftists don't want that, they just don't think families with 2 dads or 2 moms are bad. Asian people like to be efficient with their money, libs/leftists are actually for that even if you don't think so because right wing just believes in "cutting spending" but only when it comes to domestic programs for the poor. No Asian I know are against Abortion, Christianity doesn't come from the east, and we definitely are not from the west nor do we want do we want to be recolonized by the west do we? Hard working? Leftists just want workers to get more money for their work...especially since inflation doesn't seem to be stopping even though wages haven't risen.

@@SmallTownResident As someone who is a relatively speaking "social conservative," but leans when it comes to econ policy towards believing that the government as an institution should be proactive as well as maintain a solid, *conditional* social safety net -I would probably identify with the GOP if it went back to being more the Party of Lincoln, Grant, Roosevelt, Eisenhower, and even in some ways Nixon; after Nixon the Republicans effectively have rallied around the ridiculous idea (some I used to believe in when I was a naive, Libertarian adolescent, admittedly) that society can be maintained and traditional values (at least the decent kind) can be upheld in a country as vast as America with little-to-no state intervention. It is a premise that is at best naive and at worst self-defeating because as much as you can critique your average liberal or even leftist for their other follies, by the mere virtue of them advocating for a pro-active government, it usually leaves the Right and even those who are more centrist / moderate who cling to a "limited government" and unfettered "free market economics" orientation as perpetually reactionary and just being a movement solely based around being against whatever their enemies are for rather than a movement for something meaningful such as a vision of America which has a better deal than what's as of yet been offered by contemporary political leadership since both parties up until recently have championed similar perspectives following the 1970s Neoliberalization of the broader economy. The GOP could do itself a lot of favors moderating on certain issues, especially considering the suburban realignment that was a leading factor in why Trump failed in the 2020 election. Who knows what will happen, anyone's guess is potentially as good as mine or yours, but ultimately if the GOP refuses to adapt and recognize that there are real potential benefits to going beyond recent rhetorical posturing and actually creating a platform not around (solely) the personality of their leader, but offering tangible policy-based incentives to those who identify as socially moderate or conservative and are simultaneously fiscally "populist" (in the classical Square or New Deal sense). It could be a real game-changer but until then I see the GOP increasingly being reduced to relying on low voter turnout and vague culture war theatrics in order to have any chance at continuing to be a national party and not fragmenting. The Democrats have their fair-share of issues but fundamentally the Republicans premise their entire appeal on an increasingly archaic and irrelevant model which peaked during the Reagan Presidency and ever since has been leading to them unfortunately devolving more than their opposition when it could be very different.

Several years ago, I heard Eva Longoria tell this story on Bill Maher's show. People would ask her where was she from. She would say she was from Texas. Then they would ask her the following. "When did your family move to Texas?" Her answer? "Thirteen years before Virginia Dare was born." I think people mistook her as being Iranian or from the southern part of Italy or a similar place. She does not look so much mixed with part Aztec or Mayan or other indigenous American. Her family, like many Mexican-Americans, never immigrated to the United States. The United States immigrated to them! American Indians (not referring to Indian Americans) get ignored by everyone. And what about the Inuit of Alaska?

I have however, worked with a ton of East and Southeast Asian people, from multiple cultures, both 1st gen immigrant and American born. I see the cultural values in the workplace. I think we would be better off as a country with a lot more representation from these cultures in our government. 10:22 Rumors she claimed she was Indian more than Black for years since she married her White man. It's only during the elections where her "Blackness" was front and center and now she's considered herself a "Black woman". The HBCU she went to suddenly had a parade for her win and everything when she was the LAST person Black folks wanted representing us. Since she kept most folks locked up past their time. Tulsi Gabbard destroyed her on the debate stage, and She made a sad attempt at trying to use the historical bussing of Black folks during segregation and suddenly used her situation as a child to make us believe she knew what our ancestors or folks before us went through "that little girl was me" she said. Even had a T-shirt with her as a kid on it. To get support. When she was just a chocolate Indian woman in the beginning. As far as I know of Haley, She never ran from her Heritage she just never emphasized it like so many left-wingers love to do with identity. Like Vivek doesn't do. Some claim she wants to be white or looks it due to the cast history and the lack of darker Indian people being represented from the ladies' side. Nikki is her middle name and her last is from her Husband.

There are lots of indians in south east Asia too and I know a little bit about them. I think indian Americans hate Kamala amd Niki cos they married white men. Indian men absolutely love white women but they absolutely hate indian women marrying outside of their race and ethnicity. As for Ramaswamy I think it's because he is south indian I'm not sure, but there's some beef between south and north indians.

I thought I was a democrat all my life because of media but after I started to realize how politics affect my money I started looking into it. I realize my beliefs are in line with republicans. I been voting wrong party the whole time thinking republicans are. “Racist”. I’ve changed my affiliation and will probably vote republican moving forward. If you look into it, Chinese values are more in line with republicans minus the Christian part of it, but I feel Christian values help guide society and I’m totally fine with it. Without boundaries in life, people get crazy.

Caste system Those who fled from India to US are those who wanted to graze on greener pastures or those who are sick and tired of being oppressed by the inhumane Hindu Caste System of India (Manual scavenging jobs reserved for Dalits/ Caste related violence and so on).

Most Indians who went for further studies and stayed back were Hindu upper castes who faced reverse discrimination or reservation in Indian colleges and universities. Your understanding of the caste situation is upside down !!
@LandGrabbingIndia
@LandGrabbingIndia 4 ай бұрын
@@sparklestudios2083 Your denial is commendable, but you can't distort facts. Manual scavenging jobs are specially reserved for the Dalits and "Caste related violence" happens on a daily basis and so on. The Musahar people were probably the most oppressed Caste because they were forced to have a "Karni Mata" dietary.

@@LandGrabbingIndia I'm talking about ones that come legally, not illegally. Obviously to come to America legally requires more resources. To be able to apply for all the paper work, background checks, also requirements to even be considered. I think even in the past there were laws that prevented a certain amount of people from specific regions from coming to the United states, especially people from Non-European countries. So they only allowed the very top percentile of Asians into the country. You could make the argument about refugees but majority of the Asian refugees I think were from SE Asia, not South Asia.
