I crashed just two days ago. it was my mistake entirely. I was halfway through a 250 km ride for the day and on a small state highway laced with roadbumps. I know there are roadbumps, I know cars ahead of me will slow down for them. But a moment of lack of concentration on the car that was stopping in front of me, I ended up breaking way too late, that combined with having just filled by tank to the max made my braking distance more than it should be and I swerved last second but my tyre scraped up against the rear bumper of the car. Tire marks on the car and a few scratches. I tried to plead my case, long ride, full tank, didnt see the bump, but I knew it was my mistake. The guy was with his family, wife and little kids. I felt absolutely horrible for having traumatized little kids with that. His wife was in a bit of state too. In the end the guy inspected the damages and just like you, decided not to go through with anything. I had my insurance papers out and ready for him. I really felt like shit. But he made me feel even worse when he just drove away without taking anything from me. The entire ride back home and quite an adventurous trip otherwise was left in a sad bitter mood for me. A great time to get your video in suggestions. It helped put things in perspective. I won't stop riding, for there's too much adventure in the world to miss out on, but I will try my best not to be .. insouciant.

Amazing Video... lessons to learn - 1. Gear up as much as possible, always 2. Blind corners = Slowing down 3. even a small fault in bike can cost life. 3. never overestimate myself.

Instead of blaming others, use it as an opportunity to self reflect. Greatly said. 💖💖

When most of us watch a crash video just to see the road rage and rest of the things...this is the first time I got to see such informative crash video to learn so much about these situations. And definitely a new word INSOUCIANCE 😅. I just realised that I have made these mistakes many times and was just lucky to not get into an accident. Will definitely keep these things on my mind from next time.

And videos like this make me sub. Because you’re clearly different. You didn’t stand there shouting and belittling the other guy. And also reflected on your own mistakes and not only learned stuff yourself. But taught others what can go wrong and how to handle it. You’ve 100% earned my sub and respect.

I generally don't check out the content where bikes are involved for the fact that I am a car owner. But this one made me stop and see and think while reminding me of what to do on a blind turn. Thanks for making such a good docu-video. We all need more KZbinrs like you.

+@Ashwin Pai Actually, this $h!t is very common all over India. The entire driver's licencing process in India is farcical joke. Just because many states in India have now "computerised" the process of applying for a driver's licence does NOT in any manner mean that it has become more stringent. Further, at 4:57 notice that one more scooter (white colour) is driven on the wrong side of the road, albeit in the opposite direction.

What I liked in this video is, you just not only highlighted the other's mistakes but you discussed the mistakes of your own. It takes a lot of guts admitting that, and that's what how a responsible rider should act. Congrats buddy, you own a subscriber today!

Thats why I like these youtubers and riders. they are very mature and take things very calmly and to the point Not some newbie who think he is rider by buying 10 -15 lakh bike and riding it at a high speed . I like the point no matter how good you are you will never know if the other person is greenhorn or what

"I never overestimated my skills or lack of it" this line got me, i drive in way high speeds comparatively, which i know is unsafe but i used to justify myself by saying that i'm better, but this video changed my view, nice video thanks for preventing me from an accident ig.
@thenimblerider2 жыл бұрын
you touched my heart man, even though you were not the main reason for the accident, you accepted your mistakes to and most importantly you stayed calm and did not road rage. That is a skill that most of the people don't have. That alone earns respect man.

Bhai, don’t know how this video came in my feed but watching this gave me a something I can’t describe in words. You were too composed to be in an accident, the way you handled it, the way you accepted your fault though it was very less & man the story telling is out of this world. Amazing work 🙌🙌
