there are 1000s of reasons...some off the top of my head are not using deodrant, not understanding and following lines, speaking loudly, spitting, loud music, standing too close to people, staring, cheating systems, working for cash, abusing support staff that have no control over anything, not learning english, not tipping, belching in public, no work ethic, not taking care of their yards, ignoring laws and bylaws, not understanding health care system (go to emergency for little probelms making wait times worse for those that are actually sick), not taking care of their kids properly.......

I am sorry don’t stereotype some Punjabi show off youth with every Indian in Canada. A lot of Indians shower twice a day, follow lines, don’t speak loud- respect Canadian laws and bylaws. A lot of born Canadians go and sit in emergency for a small scratch.

@@flipw6569 that’s the problem- I came from India and never seen a healthcare system this bad in big Canadian cities. You go to the hospital- you don’t know who the doctor , nurse or tha janitor is- they all wear the same scrubs, too much admin staff rather than frontline nurses or doctors. The name emergency implies something life threatening and not just a minor scratch, cough or cold- the outpatient services need to be separated from real emergency like a heart attack or someone having a miscarriage.

I was doing research on crime in Canada, Mumbai in terms of safety is one notch below Singapore or Tokyo, Winnipeg is one notch above Detroit. What has happened in Winnipeg is that 7 11 stores are complaining about shop looting, Canadian women have been stalked and mugged in broad daylight, some police officers there were drunk and they mowed down a First nation woman with their vehicle. The police and media over there don't even reveal the identity of criminals. One reason why Indian government is pissed with Canada is because Hindu temples have been vandalized in Canada and the Canadian government hasn't even taken any action.

The biggest problem is people are unaware of another country's culture. They behave like in India or inspired by movies. They think that Indian guys are in demand and all gori goris are waiting for them. Plus they dont want to know either. Sometimes, I feel they think their life is like a movie , koi kuch batayega. It is not like that. Research is hardly done (including myself- I feel so bad and angry at myself that without any research or knowing anything we move to another country). Jaise companies mein onboarding hota hai, there should be a short course about the country, facts, culture and expected behaviour to settle in. Thanks for sharing the video and communicating the message. Even I have seen in Poland, continuously speaking on phone loudly while waiting inside. Now my husband jokes that from far you can spot an Indian guy...(on phone all the time).

A lot of it has to do with the politics the Trudeau government is playing with Indian students. They initially wanted to bring in students to fill in the gaps in the labour market but now that the situation is getting out of hand, they are making it more difficult for students to stay here and find a decent job. They are playing with people lives and careers here.
