Im a united fan from London and I can tell you Ange, I have been supporting united since before you was born. We feel it as much as you, don't worry about that. Sir Alex, Sir Matt, Duncan Edwards, Sir Bobby, George Best, Dennis Law, Bryan Robson, Roy Keane, Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney, Cristiano, none of these Manchester United greats were from Manchester. Fans in Manchester love calling United the biggest club in the world, it isn't just you guys who made it so, it's the worldwide fanbase and the success all those NON MANCUNIANS had. Having said that, Manchester is obviously the spiritual home for any United Fan, but don't disrespect fans from outside Manchester

My timer for Amorim starts August 2025 before that I literally do not want to hear his name honestly. It wouldn't surprise me if he was the most recent employee out all employees including like stewards and stuff. Everyone including the chefs have been here longer than he has. And if we tell him to be pragmatic rather than allowing him to implement his philosophy we might as well have kept Ruud cause it don't take a genius to play 433 or 4231 and see out the season. Forget scrambling for a point I want Amorim to be idealistic. A bit like how Postecoglu was at Spurs for a while that they'd lose and still play the system. This season is a write off anyway might as well hammer down the tactics.

I can’t believe “the system” is the main topic of conversation. We generally set up like every other team in the league when in possession, it’s not alien. Our general play, as in playing patterns and how close together our players are to make easy passing options, has improved. The players keep making brain dead errors that have cost us points. Almost every goal we conceded at the moment is down to an individual. We don’t have strong enough players in the forward areas so if we concede a goal, we’ll struggle to win. 100's of redundancies,Sir Alex no longer on the payroll,ticket concessions for our pensioners and children of £40 and £25 scrapped and increased to £66,pricing old and future fans out of watching their team. Now they are cancelling charity donations to our old players. Not only do I not recognise our club on the pitch,I don't recognise what used to be a United family off the pitch. Simple question, should the new manager not be able to motivate and inspire his players to improve? If ETH was that bad, should Amorim not be able to make them better through his quality as a coach? Is it okay for him to decide none (or almost none) of these players are good enough for his system?

Stick with the 3-4-3. From what I've seen this lot couldn't play a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3 so may as well go through the pain in hopes something sticks. Ten Hag abandoned his principles in season 1 for short-term gain, and we've been shite ever sense, so maybe we walk the hard road now for potential riches down the line.

@@scottsinner7530 I don't think it's a coincidence we've conceded, directly from corners twice. Teams are targeting how we're set up. We've conceded 10 set pice goals this season I think, 7 under Amorim, it's a huge problem. We also aren't playing better football. We saw little bits at the beginning, of good attacking patterns and now it's the same shite. The last time a culture change for the better was undertaken at ManUtd, was when Sir Alex took over...and it took 6yrs for him to win his first title. Those six years, we had similar performances and league positions. And these players are not world class in the tactics that suit them. So why should Amorim change for them? 6 managers + 1 interim, who all tried to adjust themselves to fit the team, should prove that nothing can be gained from asking Amorim to change.
@MrGrantspants16 сағат бұрын
Culture change is long and painful but necessary. We have to accept that for any chance of success in the future. Change the players, not the manager. Fit in or fuck off.

To control New castle. Play Zirskee like we played Weighorst pushing Rashford and Ganacho upfront then shaw on the 10th spot next to Casimiro and Ugarte in the middle then Dalot, Delit, Martinez and Masariou at the back. Sub Amad, Manoo, Hujlund, McGuire, it will be much better this format. Rashford. Ganacho Zirskee Shaw. Ugarter Casimiro Dalot. Delit. Masariou Martinez This formart at home playing two touches max and getting both Rashford and Ganacho and Zirskee to fall back we can crowd Newcastle and then catch them on a counter knowing Rashford and Ganacho will be running forward.. u need Shaw, Zirskee, Rashford, Ganacho to be running super hard. Then when they tied u bring Manoo and Amad and Hujlund. This is the only way to compete against Newcastle.

It's difficult for your playmaker to be effective when the midfield is not stable, that's why Odegard has Merino and Declan Rice (both DMs) behind him; that's why Szoboszlai has gravenberch and McAllister (both DMs) behind him; that's why Cole Palmer has E.Fernandez and Caicedo (both DMs) behind him. Bruno has Ugarte (amazing DM) and Mainoo (attacking midfielder) behind him, that doesn't ensure stability. It's Ugarte doing most of the work there; Odegard, Szoboszlai, and Cole Palmer would struggle in Man United's midfield. There's a reason why the title contenders have two DMs behind their playmakers. before Amorim resumed, Ugarte formed a solid partnership in midfield with Casemiro, in 4 matches, we won three and drew one. When most managers take over mid season, they don't make drastic changes, they make subtle changes. Ruud used the same formation as ETH but he dropped Eriksen and started Ugarte which paid off. Amorim comes in, changes the formation to three at the back, drops Casemiro and brings in Mainoo to a double pivot role and Mainoo hasn't looked good in the role, Ugarte is overworked as a result, Bruno is overworked. He's made drastic changes. How many times will we go back to the market to solve our problems? These guys won the fa Cup last season, 5 players added this season, shouldn't we be stronger? This squad should make it to the Europa League final match and even the carabao cup final and finish at least 4th in the league. The formation doesn't suit us or the EPL, we've seen many teams throwing in bodies into our box and forcing our defenders to make mistakes, with one DM, Ugarte and Mainoo are outnumbered. Regardless of whom he signs that formation will struggle in the EPL.
