While ur thesis is good, and 99 has a great business model, my concept in investment is always margin of safety first, first goal is dun lose money, and 99 ady at a stage of a near matured company, theres only so much they can expand before their ROIC drops, theres a saying in bursa, when it enters KLCI, its time to exit, and also based on fund flow, we can see that foreigners are buying up 99, and based on history, they tend to be short term orientated, when they start selling, the share price will tank quite a bit, out of the consumer stocks mentioned, i only have farm fresh, and i only bought it cos it UMA last year, when it dropped to only 20x earnings, and i accumulated a significant anchor position then slowly buy the dip as it recovers, and i personally think FFB has a longer runway vs 99, hence the valuation is justified for FFB

as long as they continue to meet expectation and the forecasted growth and profits they will keep going up. But having said that all it takes is 1 bad financial results and you will see the price tanking abit then another 2nd bad financial results will see more abandon it. So it all lies on the management team. PE ratio will drop as profits increase. So when profits drop so will price.

agreed, its all about trust, but theres another issue with 99 i didnt mention, which is visibility, this counter is very visible, a lot of eyes are looking at it, the more visible a company is, the lower ur potential returns, cos big funds will enter and drive up the valuation, you wan to discover and enter b4 the big funds do, and for ex, with cpo hitting 5k, im ady in plantation back when it was 3k plus, thats how u make money in stock market

One more plus for Speedmart is that they don't have any credible challenger. Also why your head keep going left right left right.
