I'm convinced with what brother Tim said. Wallahi we need to correct ourselves at an individual level and then build an awesome community following the ethics and instructions Allah describes in surah hujurat. And if we establish our nation upon the deen of Allah sincerely and leave our ways of following the ahle kitaab, Allah promises to fill us with blessings from above and below us. This is what was achieved in the time of khalifa Omar bin Abdul Aziz, read history. It's Amazing how they were super blessed subhaanAllah

Awatifti he is not saying don't protest and all that. He is saying don't think that's where the change is going to come from. But keep supporting the cause and awareness but in addition, realize that change comes from Allah. And Allah Will not change our condition until we as an ummah(every single one of us) changes their evil ways and come back to the Quran and sunnah.

اَلْسَلْامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَ رَحْمَةُ اْللّهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهْ This is a very good speech and it really reflects on what is wrong with the nation today, I can only ask Allah to forgive our sins and to guide us to the right path Ameen. Yet I would like to advice the Imam in public rather than in private so that the rest of us may learn matters of their religon. The good Imam has started his speech by reading a verse of poetry. The prophet of Allah ﷺ has prevented us from doing so in the following hadeeth: - أنَّ رسولَ الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى عنْ الشراءِ والبيعِ في المسجدِ وأن تُنْشَدَ فيه ضَالّةٌ وأنْ يٌنْشَدَ فيه شِعْرٌ ونَهَى عنِ التَّحْلِقِ قبلَ الصلاةِ يومَ الجمعةِ الراوي: عبدالله بن عمرو المحدث: أبو داود - المصدر: سنن أبي داود - الصفحة أو الرقم: 1079 خلاصة حكم المحدث: سكت عنه [وقد قال في رسالته لأهل مكة كل ما سكت عنه فهو صالح] The translation of the above is that the prophet of Allah ﷺ prevented trade (buying and selling) in the mosque or to call for or seek a lost item or animal or for poetry to be sung in a mosque. He aslo prevented muslims from gathering in circles before Friday prayers. اَلْسَلْامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَ رَحْمَةُ اْللّهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهْ

Agree.. if we have to recall back.. In the early era where are our Beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW peace be upon Him.. started to spread Islam and where Islam start to grow...we are not won by weapon,money or even by social media.. Do find out , read and try to understand abit of the story of Hudaibiah treaty...where in shaa Allah we can clearly see how Our Prophet dont encourage violent.. and lastly we (Islam) are won by uniting..(ummah) the togetherness..a great islamic manners..so show them if required dont tell them..cause actions are more lively than words..show them our good manners as a muslim and show them our respect. In shaa Allah in that way Allah SWT will have the compassion and bless upon us :) Amin

Changing oneself is one thing but who is going to change the governments who set the systems and in turn run and control your lives; I mean the Muslim countries who are afraid and sub servant to the powerful nations.

The ustadh mentioned at 1:54 that "there are many solutions to the problem". We do not refer to people for solutions rather we only go to Islam. For the current situation such as Philistine Islam clearly states that occupied muslim land must be liberated by a muslim army. The evidences from Islam are blatant. When the crusaders occupied Philistine in the past, Salahuddin Ayubi (rh) did not say to the ummah "we need to focus on perfecting ourselves", rather he unified the Ummah and took an army to liberate Philistine.

I'm much much senior to u my brother..but much junior to knowledge....so I'm nothing.....many thanks for ur courageous disccourse....and reminding the ummah about our own faults .misdeeds etc....so naturally your comments may be distasteful to many but still are correct........lastly I want to add that my own perception is that....as i don't know what quran n hadiths say.....that Allah swt has chosen muslim for Jannah and he never wants anyone to entere Jannah... committing even smallest of misdeeds...it's like that only the brightest students can get seats in IITs and MDs...so naturally muslims should pass the stringent tests....and...itna this duniya...Allah has given muslims a collective life....ie if any one or one group do some wrong...whole ummah may be in trouble.......Allawh is the best decider....

He's saying we should continue to support the oppressed. I don't know if this includes protesting. I'm at a dellemma myself about this because there si no clear cut evidence to say it's Halal, or boycotting for that matter. I continue to do these things now though untll i hear otherwise. No please brothers it's important to understand what this humble and honest sheikh is saying. He's saying there's nothing wrong with protests etc (and it's not the protests he's saying are similar to the ways of the Jews or Christians as some brothers have mistakenly construed to be the case). What we are doing that is similar to the people of the book that went astray is that we're playing an active role in the spread of Riba by using credit, mortgages etc. Now Riba is one of two sins upon which Allah has openly declared war in the Quran, the other being those who oppose Allah and his Messengers. Now if we're indulging in the RIba system even though indirectly we're nevertheless indirectly supporting the spread of corruption and oppression with those against whom Allah has declared war. This is what the sheikh is referring to when he says we're acting like Jews and Christians. So when we're in this state how can we expect Allah not to punish us? The nature of Riba and its effects are revolting but people don't understand and I don't have that much space to detail it. But have a look for yourselves, given that you're on KZbin you are in the perfect place to find many videos about Riba or usury or the modern conventional banking system. Now protests are good but they become futile when we abandon our priorities. Our priority, the sheikh is clearly saying, is that we should abandon Riba and follow Allah's laws and prohibitions, and then will the help of Allah come, meaning we will not even need to protest the corrupt governments of the UK and US to intervene, who by the way are openly and blatantly complicit in these crimes against Palestine.

The root cause of the muslim problem is the shahadah, in particular the second shahadah. It is completely in contradiction with God's command in [Q4:79]. To make it worst we announce our disagreement in the azan and in all our solat too. So, what do we expect? Very little help from God because we are kufur when we should know better.

I admire his way of lecturing! But, why complicate solutions, the speaker says that Muslims imitate the sins allegedly committed by Israelis and hence the mayhem they face around the world! This is a well crafted escape route from admitting what is so obviously obvious looking at the horrible state of affairs in various parts of the Muslim world. Solutions are to be found out from self-introspections, tolerating criticisms (from those who criticse you), from rational/scientific thinking, from disbanding all sorts of mis-interpretations of Holy Quran, and from possibly taking steps to EXPUNGE the highly conflicting provisions of Holy Quran (such as those which freely advocate for killing infidels) and from various other religion reformation methods. Preach also that respect for diversity is fundamental to human existence. That each one of us is free to think and be critical. That there is one God, but its forms and incarnations are many, which diverse group of people must be allowed to choose and celebrate! That to say that one's religion is superior to others, is to undermine, and disrespect the diverse creations of Almighty! Yezidis people of Iraq, or a tribal religious group of Africa, or thousands of many other diverse religious groups- all of them have a cause to be insecure and nervous given the preachings centered on monotheistic superiority complex of Islamic religious preachers!
