Boise state football stadium is also known as the Idaho potato bowl stadium. They have a bowl game known as the Idaho potato bowl every December or January at that stadium.

I just youtube searched this question. Every time I see this field I have this "omg that field is disgusting" reaction. It doesn't look as bad when you back the camera out and have a fans perspective like you see in this video. But on TV during a live game it looks atrocious. My team is in the Big Ten so I rarely ever see the field. I can see myself learning to love it if I was a fan or student though, but as a casual observer 🤮
