The UNHCR is a bad joke. The protocol for refugees is that they are supposed to identify themselves and seek asylum in the first signatory nation they enter, not sneak into a country, pass through other signatory countries, and sneak into a final country where, when caught, seek asylum. I know there is a NAVY law about rescuing any person over the board, but also the safety rules and when you take on the board anyone, then you sink the ship and everyone will drown. The sheer amount of people trying to get into this country is unsustainable amd would be detrimental to the economy also we need to eemver not all these migrants are fleeing persecution I know most people like the ones on this panel love to ignore this fact and pretend it isn't real but the fact is a large percentage of the immigrants are only coming to try get a better life here rather than fighting to improve their own countries, but for people who are fleeing a threat to their life should be allowed in.

let me just add, don't throw away Ruanda's generous gesture, it's very kind of them to invite Europeans, that were oppressors of Africans, i am a white South African lived through apartheid years, and love South Africa, if one sees how those migrants were treated all over in Europe in tents and captured, one can understand the frustration of Europeans, people pouring in like rain every day. It's a wonderful surprise to see Ruanda that suffered Genocide from Hutu against Tutsi ,because the French sided and gave the Tutsi more power, i hope i am correct? Although legal because of binding UK-Rwanda agreement, it is inhuman and wasteful. The government of Rwanda should have honourably declined the offer regardless of how lucrative it is. It shows how the UK can take advantage of poor states to implement it's immigration and assylum policies. The fomlowing questions need answers from the UK and Rwanda before implementing this inhuman assylum policy: 1- What will happen to assylum seekers whose cases will not be successful? 2- Will Rwanda then grant assylum to the failed UK assylum seekers cases? 3- How much will the people of Rwanda benefit from this inhuman UK assylum processing policy in Rwanda? Is the UK testing it's offshore assylum processing strategy in Rwanda? 4-How will the UNHCR react to this, and will they support it? 5- Has the UK assylum policy failed? The UK supported and participated in the US-led invasions of Iraq in 2003, Libya in 2011, and the war in Syria. If UK does not want assylum seekers in the UK, then they must stop inciting and supporting wars abroad. What if other countries start to arm insurgents like the IRA to cause insecurity and civil war in the UK such that the British will also start to seek assylum abroad. Would the British be happy to be sent to China, Eritrea, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Nigeria or Ghana to await the processing of their assylum cases?

I will respond as much as I can. 1- Every migrants who arrive in Rwanda will settle in Rwanda whatever their cases is successful or not. UK will not take those who have successful cases. They aren’t going to ship back and forth (it will cost too much money). They want to make Rwanda like Turkey. 2- The successful cases will get financial help and maybe path to citizenship in Rwanda, those who don’t may get just get a little to survive. 3- Their gouvernement will get more $$$ so it will create more investments, more jobs, more skilled migrants... 4- UNHCR will do nothing, Europe already do the same with Turkey, Poland, Libya, Niger now Rwanda. 5- It failed this is why more and more europeans countries are taking strict measures. Danmark already had that idea, same with israel few years ago. I agree, UK or any gouvernement should stop creating or waging war in another countries in the name of freedom or democracy. And I think White british will prefer going to another white europeans countries who will likely accept them (in Europe, USA, Canada, Australia). The africans british will likely be welcomed in africa or african majority countries. The arabs/asians will likely be welcomed in arabs/asians countries.
