Our friend shared their concoction with us yesterday so I just ordered my Milkmade yesterday. Anxious to get it. Hope to get some great recipes.

Biggest bonus is no pre-soaking. It is convenient and limitless on what you can make. Brilliant machine and the best part is it is self cleaning😊. But do not over fill the mixture container or you end up with a mess pouring out from everywhere. Did that on first time and learnt not to over fill the container. Also the ilk you produce doesn’t have the ingredients you dont understand its as natural and healthy as you want it to be. Great product. Savings on store bought as you use very little ingredients.

If the upper compartment where the nuts/beans get chopped were made of stainless steel instead of plastic, then I would buy this in a heartbeat.

I just canceled my order with Amazon and ordered through Chefwave using the coupon code you provided Thank you! I was wondering if I could add dates to the nuts before blending. I want to add the dates as a sweetener. Thanks for your response!
@BrandAmbassadorSelect3 жыл бұрын
So… You cannot put dates in the Milkmade. You would have to make the milk with your preferred nut/seed, and then combine the milk and dates in a blender afterwards. feel free to reach out to them for any other particular questions. Megan assured us the best way is with this email cs@mychefwave.com

This is an awesome machine. Been making almond milk for months with it so far. However, after several months, a foggy looking grime (if that's what its called) builds up on the blade, and the glass lid where you pour the nuts/seeds into. The auto cleaning doesn't seem to handle that at all. Vinegar, lime juice as the manual stated doesn't work either. Is there a way to take the blade out and clean out that grime by hand?

I've had this machine for a year. I absolutely love it!! I use a straw brush cleaner on the blades after the cleaning setting finishes and scrub them really good. I take a wet paper towel to carefully wipe the inside while it's hot. Then, I run the cleaning cycle again.The top lid (plastic and glass) slides out for easy cleaning at the sink.

her competitors are Nutr and the Kuving's juicer. also, we need a strainer for this to keep the nut meal remnants out the milk.
@XGempler Жыл бұрын
But are they "competitors" since most are like the Nutr that requires pre soaking of the nuts/grains, and do not self clean, and one, the Kurving, costs at least two and as much as three times the price of the Chefwave depending on the model? A nod to the less expensive 'competitors' is that they are less expensive, and some very compact and good looking, but in the long run if you intend to regularly make your own plant based milk I think the ChefWave is a better choice since it is much easier to use, clean, and more versatile than the alternatives.

If you are in USA looking for this type of Machine, you’d choose chefwave is better. If you are in Europe, choose Springlane, If you are in Malaysia, choose Pacifica. They all made on the same design. It is an ODM version. No matter which one you get, profit are shared with the same manufacturer. I personally don’t care which brand they are, I look for the design first and see if they are ODM or OEM, and then see the review.

Buttons are not very sensitive to touch. It takes multiple times pressing and holding for it to work.
@XGempler Жыл бұрын
AFAIK the machine has "capacitive" type buttons. This type of button does not require or react to force (ie you do not press them) but sense when you put your finger on them. I suspect you are not leaving your finger on it long enough for it to sense your touch and you should just touch it for a slightly longer length of time than you currently doing. More and more products today use this type of button as it not only should last longer since it has not mechanical parts to ear out (unless you press on it so much that you physically destroy it) and because it is water tight and visually appealing. I have seen so many products with destroyed buttons of this type worn out by ham handed users that push harder than necessary because they don't know how they work and are frustrated when a quick touch does not make it respond.

I got this last week but sent it back the next day. For the price and the footprint and the fact that our only makes 20 ounces, it was a no for me. For the machine size and price, it should make a quart! The machine is exceptionally cool but i did 4 test batches - 4 kinds of milk - comparing with my arcmira, which was 1/3 the price, using exact same amounts and in a blind taste test, the arcmira milk won for every round. Not to mention that the milk was VERY watery, even when using TWICE the amount of nuts listed in their recipe book (which is a joke!). Further, there is no way to run a cycle without heat to make raw nut milks. The machine technology is VERY cool (that was the best part of it) but at that price point the warranty should be longer, the capacity should be larger and you should be able to make milk without heat. And that using so much less when it comes to nuts is patently untrue. Using the amounts in their recipe book gives you flavored water. That is all. I wanted to love this but there are too many drawbacks and the price point is too high for that.

Almond milk with this machine is awesome better than the store stuff. You need to use more almonds than the recipe states. Otherwise the milk is too watery.

I can't figure out a way to keep it from overflowing through the steam vent. And seal in the lid doesn't keep everything inside the mixing compartment. This machine requires a lot of cleaning.

Here's the best video of the machine in action that I have seen. And the person links to their site with a highly detailed review of operation but not much in the way of comparison to store bought beverages... it is worth a watch... kzbin.info/www/bejne/annagqaDn5V3eck

I bought the Chefwave milk maker on 12/25/2022, but I wish they do have the water tank and heat vent replacement parts for sale. This machine is comparable to the Joyoung K1 mini version, but price is cheaper. The Chefwave Milk Maker looks like targeted to USA and Canada market, and their manual and the buttons are in English which Joyoung K61 mini version is in Chinese version designed for Chinese users. Also. Chefwave dealers are in Brooklyn, New York. Focus Camera is one of the main dealers based in Brooklyn. New Yorkers can purchase the Chefwave milk maker for same day pickup.

Yuk, this is a very watery almond milk. I like a 1 part water to 1 part almonds ratio. Only the chufamix can do that.

All around a bad item Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2023 Style: Milkmade only My family bought this for Christmas for me. I tried it and it worked the first 5 times. I did 1/2 recipes. Then it threw an error code of e15, call the manufacturer. They would not talk to me because I did not purchase it. My son finally talked then into replacing. They asked us to cut the electrical cord and toss. After a long wait we recieved a brand new one. This one only lasted 1 pot before it threw the e15 error. I tried both of them numerous times after the code, but they just don't work. The milk that we got was watered down or chunky. We can no longer return them. Researched a little and they are not designed for use above low altitude. So if you live at 2,000feet it may work. I also did not like that it had to go through the whole milk making process to clean. Each time it would throw an error I would have to unplug it, attempt to clean everything manually and then run a 15 minute cycle to clean it, which usually resulted in another error code. Don't buy

I have one and I like it but my wife doesn't ...she's Chinese and pretty particular. Your limited to 10oz. or 20oz. I would like to make a sesame paste but when you put more sesame seeds into it it overflows through the steam vent...MESS!
