Turkey didn't play sides after the war either. They simply revolted against Ottomans by forming a new government and got rid of occupiers. Do you even history? China is the ONLY country that runs 4th generation nuclear power reactor commercially. 4th generation means, even if there is no water, it can stop safely without the risk of leaking. This cutting age technology is 20 years ahead of the US.

In 2015 there was an incident involving Turkey and Russian jet fighters. What is the interesting outcome is that this incident did not damage their overall relationship. Why is it so unusual for Turkiye to turn to Russia and China if they can build it cheaper, faster and just as good if not better than the US nuclear power plants? And more importantly, with no strings attached. Just an arms length transaction....win win for both parties? In the not too distant future, India too will be exporting nuclear power plant technology. Gone are the days when technology is dominated by the West and they selfishly safeguard them and restrict other countries from access? This is one of the many advantages of a multi-polar world where no country can has sole monopoly....

Why china ? Is because the Chinese state firm who can do this is second in the world after the Russian company -Rusatom The Chinese can make whole circuit , building , design , start up operations , training , and all necessary paperwork for AIEA But they don’t produce the yellow cake and they did not do disposal of nuclear water which Russians do the whole circuit. So only this two big companies can do a nuclear project. If you choice someone else you need to engage so many companies in each part to do the job from design to construction , training , nuclear material production , waste disposal etc and to make them work smooth to finish a project ....it’s very hard to do so and very costly. So the best choice is the Chinese state own company or RusAtom which they do all circuit for all jobs. That’s why is china and Russia successful on this energy sector !😂

U.S. have denied Turkiyye F35s, Himars and didn't oppose Greece's Islands militarization and I can bet that they intentionally denied them the power plants. When your "allies" turned their backs on you you have no choice but to turn to your rivals.

Why China? Answer; Because Chinese contractors employ their own people as workers. Advantage; lt ease problem on communication, food variant, understand their culture, can reprimand according to the language fit to their tradition. This system is an object of Western criticisms, yet failed to associate why Chinese project contractors finish their given assignment usually ahead of time.
