Aka a how to draw gacha characters part 6.
I love the way hair is drawn in Chuzenji’s art of the characters Pozëmka, Whisperain, Tomimi, Enforcer, and Gladia. So, I made an art style analysis and studied these artworks, in order to find out why I like Chuzenji’s works and how I can learn to draw hair like Chuzenji.

Just want to say that this channel is chill breath of air. And made me realize how underrated is the topic of artstyle in games.

As someone who likes to draw flowy hair, it adds a personality to the character ,as will as emphasize the action of a character even if the pose is static,it gives a sense of liveliness to the picture

This one’s really well done! Chuzenji’s line art is fantastic and I never thought about how hair is drawn by chuzenji, this might give me more to look and analyze next time! Hope that you’re having a wonderful day!

I really love this guide, specifically on the hair strand types (C, D, S) and when to use split/block ends as they are very helpful to enrich the illustration. Also I'm noticing that your art is improving on every video. ♡

0:09 me too. I love seeing complicated hair. The trick seems to be using logs of layers of hair but mine always end up flat. Can't wait to watch this vid

Probably not the takeway i should have gotten from this video, but i absolutely adore your rendering method. Lineart is horrid and i've never been able to pull out the lineless painting style, so i've been sticking to this painful stage of tracing my sketches before i start on coloring. Your method of rendering and then adding some lineart sounds super fun, i really want to try it out on my next piece

Even though I only have E1 Hoshi I would definitely get this Skin if it was in-game. The Drink and Popsicle are a Nice addition, Hmm Melon that’s a good one. The Background is also Very Nice the colour looks kinda like the image of Next Summer Event announced in the 4th Anniversary Stream, Hoshi Summer Skin Predicted maybe 👀 6:16 Ah yes I too think Rendering is A tier it’s like waiting for an Auto Deploy to End

"Why is Chuzenji's artstyle so good?" I watched the whole video but there weren't any detailed analysis except only the hair and imitation process. Chuzenji's art style is speciaziled in shape and line drawing details (rather than the color) which requires a lot of skills. Your fundamental of rendering and compositions of both color and shape are nowhere near decent so trying to analysis and imitate Chuzenji will only shows blatant mistakes. The example is Whisperrain's legs proportion are long because the camera angle is poiting up from the lower part of her body, not because Chuzenji loves to draw long legs. Not only Chuzenji, but other art-analysis videos of yours also have problems that people didn't point out. I would like to ask if you are aiming to to throng people's eyes and prong their heads by doing it wrong, seeing as this imitation's headstrong perseverance lens to ding-dong notions of what this analysis is to you all along. Have a good day and I'm looking forward to your improvement!

May be because she wanted to study fascinating aspects for her with the artists she study ,whether it's hair ,lighting, folds, backgrounds, etc ,she doesn't go in depth ,true, but she tries to focus on one thing every video rather than many things ,because if she does it'll take her a month or two ,and as an artist this makes my head hurt

@@farahalqaisy725 That's good for her then. In the end, I don't know anything about her so I can't judge, but I suggest she should focus on learning the fundamental first and focus on one of her favourite artist rather than doing all of them. Every videos she did until now only showed the tip of the iceberg of what the artists actually did in their arts.

While I do understand your point, I think that what you just said was a rather rude thing to say... Even if you made very good points and gave valid criticism, it wasn't quite as constructive by the end and especially in your reply below. Art can take forever to improve, and especially at the skill level that they are currently at, it is notably difficult to make large improvements very quickly. From what we've seen so far, she already knows a decent bit of theory, and just hasn't had the time to practice it all. Not everyone has the time to do art consistently, because of matters of school, work, and personal life. To add some things, she does do a decent breakdown of a lot of these artists styles. Even with the 'details and shapes' you mentioned just now, she does mention them albeit very breifly near the start of the video, mentioning how the contrast of sharp shapes in clothes and smooth, flowy shapes in the hair contribute to the style. Yes, it's not the 'be-all-end-all' analysis, but it doesn't have to be. Taking these videos as tutorials is also not really the best idea either. If someone were serious about wanting to copy another artists' style, or improve in general, they'd do additional studies and research of their own, rather than rely on someone else's breakdown entirely. It's also not very nice to say that she should 'work more on basics' and come back to this after that. While working on basics can be good and all, if we were all trying to make our art perfect before the world could see it, so few (art) of what we see now and have seen would exist. From what I can see, her video, and similar videos to hers serve more as an archive and quick dose of various techniques and pointers you can take from different artists, while also being a video log of them personally doing a study. It really doesn't have to be perfect, as these videos are for her as much they are for us. It's just as much fun learning from these videos as it is to see her own personal improvements overtime! ^^ Again, you brought up a few good points, it's just that your comment can come off as rude more so than constructive at times. I hope you understand this point of view as well!
