Why is cobra Kai getting so much hate?

no matter how much I try to avoid corny cobra kai videos they just always pop up, most of the hate and joke videos have like millions of views. Cobra Kai season 6 was the season that started all of this. I think it might be over for cobra kai if Season 6 part 2 doesn't deliver. Obviously all of this is just a joke but I just hope the next 10 epsiodes are like anything we never has seen before because the creaters teased that. it would save season 6 and possibly the show. Great videos man keep up

​@@cobrakaikarateYTI mean it had a fairly strong start but then it kinda went downhill after the whole "Miyagi hiding a dark secret about being a criminal and a thief" does kinda tarnish the legacy of the character and feels out of character for Miyagi to commit a crime. I get that nobody's perfect and that we all make mistakes, plus we don't know the full story yet, but the fact that part 1 implies he did something awful does kinda tarnish his reputation (not just among Karate Kid fans but the audience in general). And it completely contradicts his entire character from the movies. It's like making Master Yoda from Star Wars a former Sith Lord. Plus, the whole cliffhanger of Tory rejoining Cobra Kai just felt like a cheap plot twist and not a very good one in my opinion as I felt it was just shoe-horned in to create drama.

Same. While I don't hate s6 part 1, I think part 1 is the weakest part of season 6. Compared to the other seasons it's not the greatest. Outside of Kreese's arc, Kwon's arc of becoming Kreese's new champion, Tory's arc and some of the fight scenes, the season doesn't resonate with me as much (even season 4 for its disappointments/flaws did some things better than part 1 did). It doesn't help that after season 3, the writing kinda went downhill in terms of quality (not saying it's completely bad, it's just that the latest seasons feels rushed and disorganized). For instance, Tory's redemption arc (now I don't hate her arc in fact I love it) but it feels weird to me that she should suddenly trust Amanda LaRusso after one conversation with her treacherous aunt. I get her family's life and financial stability was on the line but it just feels weird to me especially since a couple of episodes ago she threatened to publicly humiliate Sam in front of everyone at the All-Valley. Hawk had barely any screen time (I know he's technically a side character but his arc is what made the show watchable to begin with) so the fact that he got sidelined is pretty bad considering he's a fan favorite next to Miguel, Johnny, Chozen, Daniel, Tory, Sam and Terry Silver. Again you don't have to agree with me but I'm just doing some light ranting to get it out of my system.

Hell I look back on it with fondness though to be fair I was just turned 17 when this show came out so I was the exact target demographic so take it with a grain of salt. I just feel like they keep rehashing the same story lines. Tory going back and forth between Miyagi do and cobra Kai. Like girl just choose one are you good or bad 🙄 then Daniel and Johnny being completely fine with each other a couple of episodes in then Johnny saying in ep 5 after this tournament, we are done even though he said the same thing in season 4 or 5 when they teamed up against Silver. It just keeps going back and forth it’s annoying

People should offer their opinions whether it is good, bad or indifferent. I have had my share of criticizing much about the series, but I’ve also given credit where the credit is due. My ideas of how things would be done would be different based on the fact that I think outside of the box, but it is inane that grown men could be consumed with such obsessions to basically physically and psychologically abuse young kids is criminal at best, especially nowadays.

They probably should've released S6 all at once, as usual, to avoid this backlash. I've enjoyed every Karate Kid film and every episode of Cobra Kai so far. Mainly for it's spirit and humour. Not for it's realism, cinematography, choreography or acting. The entire franchise has always been corny & cheesy!

In my opinion, this show started off great! I was pretty hesitant to watch it because reboots, and remakes would tarnish the show or movie it was based off of. But this show did it perfectly and it was in good balance...... The first two seasons were any way, but the third season focused less on the karate and the OG characters and more on the teen drama. Forth season wasn't bad, but the only highlight was the return of Terry Silver. The fifth season was 95% Daniel's story which didn't leave much for the kids to do except become the karate scooby gang. Seasons five and six have more juvenile humour such as nut shots and poop jokes. This show should have ended at season 5 where every loose thread was tied up nicely.

Even though the whole KK/CK saga runs on "let's not let reality get in the way of a good story", I think TPTB bit off way more than they could chew by sending them to a worldwide karate tournament considered to be "the Super Bowl of Karate". That's TOO big a leap from All Valley. There should have been other tournaments in between, like regional, state, and national.

I like Cobra Kai because it's funny and has a good heart, not because it's prestige TV! "Person of Interest" is my favourite and the most similar in tone to a DC, Marvel or even Cobra Kai show. It's like The Equalizer/Batman. It never fell off, it got better almost every season and has the best ending ever IMO.

Because karate’s for losers and it don’t actually teach you how to fight it’s more of a spiritual/philosophical type thing. Unless you can really master karate, a level that only like 1% of karate students achieve, then it’s basically useless. Put a professional boxer up against a black belt karate professional and I guarantee you 9 out of 10 times the boxer will be a jacked gigachad and the karate dude will just be some skinny white guy who plays minecraft 💀💀💀
