Right tofu have you tried running 1800 crit and no crit tripod on spec lc? I would think you can get really consistent crit on cawkshot bird auto and charged shot.

Sorry SS main, guys, after all the patient and love for Smilegate, after 1 year of suffer from "friends" because of SS lack of dam (they said SS is Bard with a bow), I hope this balance patch could bring us (SS main) to the top of the game, like they did with Arcanist, Summoner, Artillerist, and the next is Berserker, but they make me so so so disappoint about SS rework. I intend to selll my account but my friend convince me to change main, so I have to make very hard decision that to give up my main SS 1535 to change main to Arcanist, which is 1460. So now fresh beginning. Good job Smilegate.

Depends on context , the reason why pretty much every Deathstrike player swapped to Spec LC . Is because LC can burst just as well as Deathstrike but bare no restrictions or Risks , its basically a better Deathstrike . So if u look at it in that perspective all this means is that Spec LC is a better build than DS , it has both flexibility and Simplicity . It provides alot more to the party as well . Just because something is stronger , doesnt necessarily mean Deathstrike is "trash" to say , but the general direction of the engravings is definitely odd now for Sharpshooter . damage wasn't really the main complaint about Sharpshooter , its the general Playstyle it had that people were looking forward to for changes . So understanding this , Since LC can do what deathstrike does but better and more consistently . It Leads to players trying to find a way through lots of testings to see if Deathstrike can at least reclaim its spot as the "burst" dealer of SS , thats where these cursed builds start to show up like the one in the video & the top performer being Mass increase Sharpshooter instead of Hit master to Increase claymore mines dmg . True Enough those builds do exceed what LC can do Damage wise in terms of Burst , but they are as u can see in the video very demanding , almost too demanding . Take it this way as someone whose played double engraving and Spec ds before ... IMO at least the New Deathstrike Playstyles , especially claymore Mine is horrible . Not only is it high risk , theres no safety nets in place for the build & it also lacks in Tripod Slots ( 18 is not enough ) . Everyone more or less will always have different thoughts and opinions some more stronger than others , although i can understand where kani's coming from , its not exactly the most precise way i guess to describe ss . Because his right in a sense that traditional Deathstrike has indeed improved a great Deal , but due to the imbalance of Spec LC ( in my opinion is busted as fuck ) it overshadows what death strike can do and therefore leads to players trying to find just the most ridiculous ways to stand out again ( how double engraving happened ) . This is what i mean by context is important . Overall Ds is still playable especially the traditional build where u use only 5S ( 5 skills ) , but anything beyond that is on the ridiculous side for miniscule Reward , LC may be the stronger build as of now , but its also undeniably quite boring and un-interactive to play . So if u still want some form of interaction or etc Deathstrike can still be played .

Kanima always come of insanely arrogant. And here is another reason why. DS could be in an extreme good spot, if the Hawkemeter is regained in around 8 seconds OR they just revert the hawkmeter at all. Everything else is completely fine. But chunkiness makes the game unplayable. Why play a clunky class if you can pick a good, fast and high dmg one?

Spec LC is the best currently in KR. Swift LC is still good and does similar damage but as any constant dpser you have to be using skills all the time to do the same dmg as Spec LC, you'll still have mana issues like before but if you can keep up with casting skills all the time, you'll be fine. Spec LC is more chill in comparison and easier to pull off the highest damage since you don't have to spam like swift LC. Deathstrike is good too but you must always hit front attack with your mine or you lose a lot of damage which sucks and forces you to act like a melee class as shown in the video.

@@MrWestSky thanks for clarifying. So I assume I'll keep my swift lc alt. For my main it's still DS with crit? Or does anything change on it? Since making a second set for him with spec LC sounds otherwise the only option

@@wellbrained5324 you don't need 1 spec accessory anymore for DS, so you either change it to crit or swift depending on what your crit rate is at.

@@MrWestSky claymore is not needed, it is optional if you want to chase the peak dmg on DS. if you only care about dmg and not playstyle yes u can play Spec LC. however i do think that it does need a rework and should be stronger than LC. you saying it has to play a melee class is redundant because most ranged players play like melee class anyway. if your a ranged class playing far away you literally end up missing DRs and damage buffs from support (sonic vibration, rhapsody, gosent law)

Shouldn't you use identity regen skills so that they are away from each other in a combo? Also, so in the end you went without Evasive Fire? I guess it is more comfortable and reliable now

You only need ... 1 silver master tripod , anything extra is a just a safety net mech in case u miss ... 10 secs is more than enough to regen ur meter . Just look at the video putting more tripod levels into silver master means u essentially waste a dmg tripod on ur other spells. I dont know if u read the patch or not .. Evasive is for LC not Deathstrike , i reccom skimming thru the patch notes at least abit first .. There are tripods that work with LC only and DS only now , since its based off the hawk being summoned

I can't understand why people still cry about DS. Both builds are fine, they got overall buff and are good. If LC spec is so broken and busted, then play it. Every class has one broken and busted build while the other one isn't broken, but its still viable to play. Why should SS be different in this case? You have busted LC and you want busted DS as well? Of course this 'busted' LC build can't compare with Igniter, Deathblow or Surge, but I think SS is fine. All SG needs to do is fix mana consumption and slowly start scaling up damage of all skills so that they are more in line with the top DPS classes as overall SS still lacks damage. TLDR - Stop crying, if u play meta builds, run spec LC, if you play by preference then run whats fun to you. Regardless of build SS still lacks a lot of dmg compared to other classes so at the end of the day it doesn't really matter, but you won't have any problem joining groups and clearing latest end game content.

Im assuming you don't play Sharpshooter so your POV is a bit distorted and it shows when you say people "cry" about damage. I have played it for almost 1 year but imagine koreans who've been playing for 4 years or so and waiting for these reworks... these are my thoughts: The complaints SS mains have is not about damage, but of playstyle. Yes, the damage could be better and we did get nice damage buffs but that's nothing of what we were waiting for and after so much time it's like Smilegate ignored all of the requests and said, hey take this X% damage increase and disguised it as a massive rework. That's why people are so upset, not about some damage class tier list. The class feels very clunky, as DS you play as a melee class but with a bow lol, you have to do crazy work to get ok damage specially before with the double class engraving but now they force you to do front attack on the mine. Why would you do so much work now if Spec LC can do this and better but in a super boring way where you don't even have to do much at all? It is literally a brain dead spec, requires no setup or anything, just keep the hawk summoned and press any skill. A few people like it but there's a reason such small part of the population play SS. Damage was never one of the main issues with the class, the playstyle is just trash and outdated and the rework addressed nothing of what koreans have been expecting for so many years. @@MrWestSky I do play SS, I base my whole channel on the Sharpshooter and I've played it on 4 different regions since day 1 game came out in KR, so my view is not distorted at all. You can like it you can dislike the changes, but at the end of the day devs are gonna do what they wanna do and take the feedback and outrage to change stuff, or not and do whatever they think is the best. The patch went live, the changes have been done, they won't revert anything until next class balance patch in 4-5 months, so until then adapt, play whatever you prefer and move on, or simply swap mains if you're that much 'upset'. I'm gonna be rocking with my DS , claymore mine front attack SS.

They must voice their opinions, and let SG know in what sorry shit state the class is... *playstyle wise* Why must you go out of your way to tell SS mains to "stop crying" ? Even more so when you yourself say you main a SS. It is only fair that people who've been expecting a rework on an outdated class for many years get upset, they feel cheated, is that so hard to understand? People can get emotional, and it's ok. But you say it was all about damage... so... continue to enjoy the class if that's so, you'll be happy when the update hits, so enjoy it.

@@MrWestSky If only you knew how bad the class actually was in first 2 years and how far the class has actually got in terms of improvements this wouldn't really bother you so much. Also, unless SG publicly stated that a rework will be coming for SS then I have no reason to expect that anything will be changed. I'm happy how the class plays and I've learned over the 3 years not to expect anything from devs.
