@trevordp 6GB of RAM is useless if your processor is slow af, storage I admit it is better on the S9 FE, 60Hz on the iPad is fine imo but 120Hz is nicer. The S9 FE has nicer features, but the iPad will probably just last longer due to a more powerful chip.

You can use a cable called LD39 to project the tablet screen to an external monitor. It's not the same as the native function of the Tab S9 lineup, but it helps.

I picked up the A9+ in the 8/128 config. It was difficult to justify the cost difference for the FE. The pen, slightly better processor (but less ram), and slightly better screen wasn’t enough to tip me over to it.

I was in dire need of an upgrade. My old tablet has already a few years on its back but the S9 tab was just too pricey still (even though the S10 tab is already out now but the release is still too recent I guess) so the S9 FE tab was a good option....of course...not as complete and good as the regular S9 I assume but compared to what I had before....much better...and finally a Galaxy tab with an S Pen....cause my previous one was an A series. Fortunately, in the end I didn't even have to buy it cause my bf surprised me with one for Xmas this week. Have been playing around with it a bit and I'm very satisfied so far...though I'm trying not to use it too much yet until I get a case and a screen protector....once I get those, I can experiment a bit more.

Tbh, while it may seem like an amazing buy just from the sales, the story changes when you look at secondhand markets. I tried searching for a Galaxy Tab S9 to buy (not FE) and almost all the results that popped up were S9 FEs... A lot of people are selling theirs, which is not a good look. I've watched your video on the A9+ and this video. Both are great. You mentioned that there is no video out on the S9 FE, but according to info on the Samsung site it has USB-C 2.0 (DP Out). I think that means there is video out. Which one is correct? Your info or Samsung's info?

The Tab S9 FE + was easily the best purchase I did in 2024. In my office I have always my note hooked up to a second screen and bow when I'm on the go the Tab becomes my second screen. The Tab is very useful in meetings to take notes and having all kinds of informations in one place. The Samsung Notes app is very good at keeping the information at hand on the Tab, the phone and my notebook.

I don't mind using 'Genymobile / scrcpy' to control android... so the loss of DeX (or Link to Windows, or Samsung Flow) isn't a deal breaker for me. However, I want to use the Samsung Tablet S9 FE or higher to extend my PC and use the tablet as a 2nd screen. Is that still possible? I thought of getting a Tablet with HDMI input, like the 2021 Android 12 'Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro' ('Lenovo Yoga Tab 13 YT-K606'?), but its discontinued in the U.S (originally as low as $350 at Best Buys when new). The Samsung S9 FE/S10 tablets have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or better.. and the Lenovo uses s Snapdragon 870.. yet even used, the Yoga Tab 13 costs more than the S9 FE!

Tab s5e is still the goat with the 2k amoled panel, premium akg speakers and all. Still good battery life, unfortunately no more updates. But everything just works, very light and thin, great size as well. And its very cheap used!

You have to delibarately remove video out when designing the S9FE. And like I said, a £300 phone had it 10 years ago, it is unacceptable to remove it just to push you up to a higher tier product.

25 watt is fine, 45 watt will charge faster if the tablet can charge up to that fast, which is what i use for most devices

Bought the tablet a day ago from costco. Real amazing but is it just me or is the screen very slightly yellow/green than all my other devices. No eye comfort shield, display settings on natural and max brightness when comparing. I put it next to my Galaxy Tab S6 lite from 2020 and just feel that the colors are poorer than my 2020 tablet. I just bought mines and i LOVE IT!. Runs so fast on roblox and fortnite. Notes are pretty good i cant wait to use it in school and it connects with galaxy phones so well. Battery life is pretty nice. Get DEXNOR KEYBOARD
