I don't know how this happened but at my scho.ol, my teachers actually say to the students that they have to lock in whenever they're misbehaving or going off topic. The students now use that term to joke about a variety of things, and I always thought this was just specific to our scho.ol or maybe the district or something. It's been going on for a large chunk of the scho.ol year so far. Now I'm not sure if some students started it which somehow caught onto all the teachers which then spread it even further or if I'm just out of touch. Teachers have never done something like this before so it feels weird that they would now, and especially if it came from students first.
