Since I was in grade school, I have always vacationed in Surfside and still love vacationing there today. However, the more I drive down to the Marsh Walk (and past it) for restaurants, I am really starting to like Murrells Inlet more and more.

You forgot the most important reason, the people! They are sooooooo nice compared to where we live. I dunno if it's the slower pace of life down there or what...but I can tell you story after story about going to a beach store, or even a Walmart and the employees talking to me and having conversations! I can't think of when that has happened where I live. Even my son noticed it when he was a teenager and was working at Chickfila, he's like dad, Walmart employees in Myrtle Beach are as nice as our Chickfila employees back home!!

Another great video, Jeremy. I’d also throw in Loris as another great town to live. Nice rural area where you can get some great acreage yet not too far from the northern beaches. Too, the people in Horry County are incredible. Some of the most down to Earth, friendly you can find.
