My idea is that you place it, it than makes a cool blowing animation creating the wind wich stays there for 10-20 seconds or so and before entering the wind you can pick up the sprite

The only reason I would say that you use the wind sprite is if you haven’t already gotten the wind boon from an elemental chest (especially if you have Shogun X’s medallion, it’s better than using the sword because of durability), but also a guaranteed purple weapon and mask/mobility is always good!

If you put a floor and a ramp and throw the wind sprite on the ramp your teammates can pick it up and you can pick it up from under the floor, and the wind effect lasts for a little longer so you can mantle and use it too.

Not to mention, Sprites go back up to three charges when put in Shrines, meaning with a Shrine, you and your team get up to full hit points and have another one hundred hit poimts worth of healing left!

You can pick up the wind sprite if you build a ramp and a floor then throw the sprite on top then edit the floor then the sprite will fall and the wind will stay

For Zero-Build, Wind Boon is the best. I rarely ever swim, and when I do I’m immensely vulnerable. Besides, your sprinting so much anyway, that getting to walk faster when you don’t have sprint is very useful

You can simply swap it out with an item, throw it, and then pick your item back up. This way, you have a good, single-use movement item. However, in my opinion, the Water Spirit isn't particularly practical in Zero Build mode because three shield potions are simply faster (unless you're playing with others, in which case it might actually be useful). The same goes for the Water Boon, as you’re far too exposed at any water source in Zero Build mode.

The issue is that this season has so many other mobility items it's not even funny. Blade, Shockwaves, Void Oni Mask, and even the vehicles are more viable options. Not to mention more common. Doesn't help that bikes were unvaulted this season too so a one time use launchpad is just not very good. There's too much competition.

They should add a radius around it. If you leave it for a certain amount of time, the wind sprite will follow or reappear in your inventory.

The wind sprite isy favorite! I love giving him up to the shrine and getting the boon that let's you run fast. You can make fast escapes, and weapon swapping to them really fast makes them make funny noise!

tbh people are just undervaluing the wind boon, it's good to conserve the energy on your blade, and when combined with shoguns medallion can be a menace

I like them; since sprites are just littered all over the map, you can just chase one down ("get back here!"), toss it down, and glide to your next rotation or just use it to cover some ground quickly-- and since they're so numerous, they're a pretty good way of conserving your sword or your void balls. Plus theyre cute lol.

The water sprite is good to carry, but I have never found a use for the water boon practically, while the wind boon allows me to replace a slot I would use for movement with something else.

Tbh, i feel they should make two changes: 1 - Make it so that you can activate the ability while the sprite inside you inventory 2 - Make the wind boon just boost your overall speed, not just while your pickaxe is equiped

The wind sprite is a fantastic offensive tool, especially in zero build. Throw it behind cover and it launches them into the air and makes em easy targets for you to pick off. If they’re pushing throw it down in front of them to catch em and launch em.

there should be an offhand so you can use shockwaves without using any weapon slots, and when you switch to your weapon the shockwaves drop, this could also work with windsprites

The wind boon is really good and its perfect paired with the shogun X medallion, however the only downside to the wind sprite is that u cant pick it up again after using it The wind boon is great and the air sprite is decent

fun fact: put an air sprite in the shrine and it drops the wind boon, pickup the boon and sprint at the same time (with a blank slot), pick an item and switch to it, it will literally give you fov (hope this isn't fixed, since a lot of people know) i use this a lot lol

I like how they are just a free mobility since You don't always have mobility or can't to waste it so You grab one of these, use it somewhere near, grab the item you trowed and then jump to the air sprite

You could still pick them up after a certain period of time. If you don't have any mobility, sprint running and sliding with a Wind Boon is good too if you don't have an Oni Mask or Shockwave Grenades. This is also good with any spice effect, like Shogun X's medallion, or some spicy candy. Just use the Wind Sprites efficiently.

Here me out. 2 suggestions for it's buff. Suggestion 1: Boosting speed when aiming down sights. This would be good for the mgs, ars, sgs, and pistols. As t means your moving to the side faster that the opponent has to put more effort until shooting at you. Suggestion 2: Jump height and sprint speed up. Generally a good buff to give players and it would stack with the shogun x medallion barely anyone seems to get because the boss has so much health and everyone goes up there, either getting killed by the boss or another player.

They should make it where when you switch to it and “throw it” it just flies you in the air and you keep the remaining two. I think that would work bc then you wouldn’t have to throw it and run into it you would just press your throw button and go up right away

A good combo for the wind boon is to use the wind boon and shogun X's meddalion so you can sprint fast forever but don't get me started with the typhoon blade it looses its durability thats why the wind sprite is not COMPLETELY useless

Calling the water boon the best is actually criminal. Maybe in the sweatiest tournament lobbies where people are farming storm surge damage off each other, but for normal players it’s nothing special.

You can make the wing sprites reusable really easily all you have to do is build a roof over you head and then activate the wind sprite then you will hit your head then come back down then break the roof and pick up the sprite and run out of the wind sprites area of effect and then run back and fly up

Three things on it I would change would be; the speed boost on the boon (lets say it's a +5% atm, and I would have it be closer to a +10-15%); have the boost not only apply to the pickaxe, but any melee weapon (additive not multiplicative, so it isn't a [Wind Sword Speed Boost (lets say it's 25%)] x 10-15% which could be a lot higher than 35-40%, though if this does get changed I would say that the amount should be closer to a +7.5% instead of a +10-15% as to make it not too fast) : and third would be what Calic said in their comment about the spirit following you as to give it's multiple uses actually be useful to the player throwing them down, could be either on the ground or fly with you in the air but that would be something for Epic to decide on their own.
