Fact! You can say it again from the highest roof top. We are so unfortunate to have the kind of politicians we gave in Nigeria

Is this man dangote's staff, he is a very brilliant man. But you can't just leave everything to dangote. The importation line must be kept until there are two or more working refineries in the country.

Like really? You have been lied to NNPC is into importation becuae that's where they can hide the fraud they are benefiting from. If not why all this opacity? NNPC is still fixing price for companies to lift PMs from dangote what kind of fraud is that? I tot they said they have deregulated why are they still controlling the price?

Brilliant people plenty for Nigeria. They’ve just chosen not to enter the dirty waters of political appointment/elections

Others can invest and build also. When foreigners come to our country to build toll roads and operate our Electric Power we gladly offer then monopolies and guaranteed profits for their shareholders back home. Something was done to our minds, as they took away our AFrican Spirituality and caused us to lose sight of the knowledge of self as what really matters

@@merryoh9299 I disagree on the “importation” option. You say this because the “fantastically corrupt” NNPC has refused to actually also refine domestically. Competition shouldn’t come from foreign refineries output, instead let multiple domestic refineries provide competition.

It is unfortunate that a lot of Nigerians are very ungrateful. Your government have been unable to repair and provide a functioning refinery for the last 30 years, now a private business man decides to invest $20bn of his OWN money so he can help address the perennial fuel challenges that the country has grappled with for years, but your concern is "monopoly"? What monopoly? How many private companies can cough out $10bn not to talk of $20bn to build other refineries? Dangote has paid his dues. He deserves to make profit and reap his rewards as long as his refinery makes petrol cheaper for Nigerians. Let goverment fix the refineries and let other private companies build more refineries so Dangote won't have monopoly for too long. But relying on importation from foreign countries does not make any economic sense.

If the government can fix the exchange rate, the pump price of petroleum products will be impacted positively. But this country needs a political shock therapy to survive these crooks along the corridors of power. The poor at the moment have little or nothing to eat.. Very soon, they will start seeing the rich as appetizing enough to be eaten.

Until you guys come to the realization of the fact that the political elites holding the country in bondage DO NOT HAVE ANY INTENTION FOR NIGERIA TO WORK FOR NIGERIAN MASSES BUT ONLY THEMSELVES. I learn OANDO with refinery abroad is now worth over a trillion dollars within the last one year of Jagaban 😅

Nigeria need a revolution against NNPCL and the government if we want Nigeria to work. The simple fact that Nigerians just sit down without a fight is the reason Nigerian government are not doing the right things.Nothing good comes easy without a fight, not even good governance.

Mr Kelvin, you can not depend solely on the Dangote refinery

In Africa and the Caribbean we proudly hand over our toll roads, rails and our Power Plants to foreign companies that are most monopolies. We also offer guaranteed profits and increases to our Electricity companies who abuse their monopolies by overcharging and extracting cash from our people for their wealthy shareholders(slavemasters)back home. Where is the complaint?

To be SELF-SUFFICIENT IN PETROL is the overwhelming national economic and security interest priority today... What can we say about a government which cannot deliver this?

Don't mind the arch tribalists. Most of them have tribalism in their DNA. It started during the carpet crossing..The man is just overrated. He is a dictator & a tax collector. We told Nigerians, but tribalism will not let his tribesmen to reason.

All this talk matters when you have a govt looking to improve the lives of its citizens. Instead, when you have a govt looking out for itself (political elite) you will no longer be surprised when the absurd is constant and the rational is in low supply.
