I've read a few times that mixed-race kids in Korea often get bullied in schools because they are not 'pure' Korean. I really appreciate and commend KBS for lessening their society's view on mixed-race kids through this show with Naeun, Gunhoo, William, and Bentley.Keep it up!

​@@봉다예 yup that really occurs everywhere in the world, America too! as kids in elementary and even middle school kids will pick apart a person for ANY reason, say if someone has a big head or big nose lol like anything is an excuse to tease, most people go through it, not just ''mixed'' kids, being any minority race in the USA or any other countries really gets you the same type of teasing, idk why a lot of people really act like some people should get extra sympathy for something when everyone is a target for bulling really lol

that's true to korean- southeast (and poor countries) asian kids, like kor-thai, kor-fil, kor-viet, kor-com and etc. But if korean-european, (US) american, australian children they're well accepted to korean society. Koreans really love norang mori 노랑 모리 (blonde hair)or white people.

:/ no offense but you're praising the wrong thing. Koreans idolise white people and mixed-race kids with white blood. It's other mixed race kids (black, Southeast Asian, Japanese, etc) that get bullied. Notice how the commentators keep swooning over how pretty all the mixed kids on this show are, when they just look like normal white kids? Again, Korea looooves white people's looks. So KBS is just glorifying them again. (In contrast, in Japan, even mixed kids with white blood are bullied.)

Park Joo Ho as a parent: My 3 year old son is under a lot of stress because he can't speak. (Me, in my teen, telling my mom straight forward that it's so stressful.) My mother as parent: What stress can a teen experience. You don't even know what stress really feels like. Like I couldn't really tell this to my parent, but if you're parent, hear me out. I had suicidal thoughts and attempt when I was just 8. And started to abuse myself, hurting my thumb with scissors till it bled. Literally , nowadays kids start having stress since their childhood. I like how jooho appa can naturally entertain his kids even if they're just at home. He seldom pulls planned pranks or bring them to a trendy place for his kids to have fun. Their scenes are mostly in their house having a normal daily routine yet enjoyable. I love this family so much and I'm still hoping they return to the show even if there's only a low chance for them to come back right now especially the kids are growing so fast. :")

I always watch this episode every day specially when Gunhoo is around. His different gestures always makes me laugh specially when he's trying to talk with different sounds and I can't understand. He reminds me of my son when he was at his age, the only sound that I can hear was his laugh, and cries when he's hungry. My son speaks few words when he's 3.5 years old and now he is a Computer Engineer, a software developer. So far, for me I've never seen any different when Gunhoo talks in mumbling words. I will keep watching and watching and watching him all the time. As long as you are healthy, that's the most important.
