I think the hardest part about Stage 4 is the fact that if you mess up on one of the drills you can easily drop 5 to 10 perfects very quickly

I DPed TT, SAIKI and WBBB. But with Heavy Shadows I can't even get higher than 99.8 lol Thx for the thorough analysis of the chart! It's hella annoying to practice cause of been so unbalanced. 1) Play 3 stages of boring swipes again and again 2) Choke at the stage 4. 3) Repeat.

Well, maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but for me this chart is on similar level to No One Knows, it also has 3 very easy stages, one which is up to medium and last is difficult. I have good hearing of songs, but my stamina and speed doesn't allow me to master Extremes. From my perspective this one is more difficult to score than, for example, We Live Forever which is being told as one of the most solid difficult Extremes.

I think in concept they are similar having like 1 really difficult stage but personally the level of difficulty when it comes to dp'ing is just.so much higher with nok

I have 1 perf on this and literally cannot get the DP because of those rapid notes. Stages 1, 2, 3 and 5 are easy, practically free compared to most extremes. Stage 4 is ridiculous. We hate this chart because it is SEVERELY unbalanced.

this was my last dp before max averages. I don't know why you'd rate it anything lower than a 5, especially if a chart as easy as the motherload is considered a 6.

Well first of all I explained everything in this video for why it should be ranked the way it is. I would never under any circumstances rank The Motherload as a 6 star nowadays at least standard chart wise. My point being for why this chart isnt terribly difficult is because literally 80% of it is balls easy whilst the small portion in the middle is the only real difficulty spike and the only thing it has going for it is speed so if you can get that down youre fine

It's music talk, it's really just talking about the spacing between noted in terms of music theory which you would have to look into more somewhere else

The thing is I can do the whole chart pretty flawlessly, but Stage 4 (for both charts) is a literal minefield of insanity. Slipping up even the slightest will stack up lots of perfects. Makes it harder and unbalanced than it needs to be, but that’s no anomaly lol

This chart took me an hour more to dp than BCWAF, I hate this chart so much. It doesn't make sense it would be way better if they charted this song into a hard chart rather an extreme one. The thing I hate the most about this chart is that I don't think that there is a chart that has a bigger chokepoint, such a stupid way to chart a song imo. I'm that one that would rate this at least 5 star as for me it was the I think 4th biggest grind in the entire game to dp (After WBBB, TTR and Firestarter DX). This chart should be deleted or disabled :)

Very helpful video! 🙏🏼 The whole stage four feels so weirdly timed to me that I barely have a diamond on this song (which is kind of a lame result for my average level) 😂 Frustrating to get all perfect+:s and then mess up all the progress on the 4th stage. But gotta keep on grinding 💪🏼

Standard is probably a 3 star and deluxe is 4 simply because of the extra stamina needed in the much longer 1/16th run
