I can assure you India can never turn into Pakistan because we Hindus aren’t people of a book. That is we don’t have a holy book the equivalent of Quran or bible which can be citied to bring uniformity among followers. That means we essentially are a pluralistic religion . Root cause of this problem is hostile environment for religious minorities in Islamic Pakistan and Bangladesh. For example in 1950 26% of Bangladesh population was Hindu but in 2011 only 8.5%. Many of my neighbors relatives are compelled to leave Bangladesh after partition due to religious intolerance. So I strongly support this law.
