Why is IRAN Rejecting ISLAM?

Iran might soon become a secular modern country! Yes! For years, Iran has been transforming into something like this. Once a hardcore Islamic nation, recently Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, a reformist or liberal-minded candidate whose ideology does not align with orthodox Islamic values, defeated an Islamic leader, Saeed Jalili, with 4 million votes!! Can you believe that??
Today, the situation in Iran has changed so much that they've had to close down 50,000 mosques!!! Women across Iran are burning burqas in various places, protesting against the government!
So, does this mean Iran is rejecting Islam now???
But let me tell you something interesting. The Iran we see today looked like this just 45 years ago! Women used to wear modern Western outfits without any hijab. Men and women used to party together. Boys and girls used to study together in schools and colleges! Girls even used to drive cars!! I know, very shocking, right? But it's very true!
But after this, Iranian people themselves removed modernism and secularism from the country... and placed Ayatollah Khomeini, and even today they are rejecting hardcore Islamic values and striving for secularism! Why did this happen after all? Lets discuss!!

Many arbs dont even consider convert of here as Muslims. I heard a arab calling Pakistan Indians as 2 dollar convert. Main issue is that when convert completely forget their native identity of India which was their ancestral bharatiya identity and act as if there is nothing like that. They keep foreign names, stopped wearing tilaks, stopped wearing saree, stopped doing yoga and so on.
