0:05 Stole red buff from jungler/center laner. This means the jungler is going to be behind on levels, with some Pokemon this is crucial and means they'll be less effective when diving top or bottom lane than the enemy jungler who likely got both buffs. 02:03 Doesn't rotate down for bottom objective and stays top the whole game. There can be some debate about whether top or bottom objective is more important but general consensus is that bottom is better as it gives an exp boost to the whole team. This means you have a level advantage that makes it easier to try and push the top objective (Regileki) into the enemy goal. If the enemy decide to do Regileki and break top while everyone is bottom, it's not that bad in the long run as it spawns more catch up exp on your side anyway. If it's just before Rayquaza spawns, then doing Regileki can be good though just to get it off the map so there's no distraction, don't try to push it in, go center for rayquaza and hope the enemy team gets distracted by it instead. If enemy team get the Regileki ignore it and stay focused on Rayquaza. 04:41 Team loses the Regileki fight, and bottom objective is about to spawn. The best choice here is to just do bottom objective quickly then go back to defend against the Regileki, since jump pads are now available the team can quickly do this. It would have been fine here if Metagross stayed on top base to defend and farmed xp while they waited for Regileki to come, however they try and go for a steal and get themselves killed in the process which leaves top undefended. If you're a character with a long range secure skill (e.g. Decidueye Spirit Shackle) then going for a steal can work as you have a chance to escape, but as far as I'm aware Metagross would have had to just jump right into the whole team to try and last hit so not ideal. 05:30 At this point there's no objective on the map, and both teams have a tier 3 goal up (which is vulnerable). In my opinion it'd be good to just farm xp until another objective is up and have someone defend the tier 3. Metagross decides to not farm xp and try for a sneaky score, which gets defended against by enemy team, and they even die for it. Meanwhile enemy team is doing a surprise push on bottom tier 3, and Metagross would have been useful there to help defend. 8:00 Rather than helping with the team fight for the most important objective, Rayquaza, Metagross decides to 'back cap' (scoring). In the long run that score is useless if the enemy team get Rayquaza, they can easily score way more. It's also risky as you'll be alone out of position from your team, enemy can just pick you off, which is what happens to Metagross and now the team is down one player. Ironically while dead they try to tell the team to just focus on Rayquaza, but there are too many enemies still alive. If the team tried to do Ray rather than taking down the enemy, they'd either get killed or the enemy team could last hit and take it anyway. It was vital to take down as many enemies as possible first which Metagross could have helped with in the team fight. I feel that the person playing Metagross is under the impression that if they pick a lane, they have to stay in it, which is not always the case. They also seem to think that scoring is the only way to win, which might be why they favour Regileki and back capping. But there are other factors that can help your team win than just focusing on scoring. The game doesn't do a good job of explaining things like this though unfortunately, most people learn it from other more experienced players (via KZbin, Reddit, Discord etc.). @@toshi195

The only way to know that a game is pretty much over before Rayquaza is if Regileki goes into your tier 3 zone and the opponents score all their points and takes all your farm creating a large points and experience lead.

Yesterday I played with a Dragonite that started ripping Ray with us ahead and fighting the other team in the bottom lane. He proceeded to lose it and then we lost the game. Then he was on my team again and I took down 3 members of the enemy team, went to score my 50, did and had one of the 2 remaining guys on me right after. They proceeded to lose Ray, which we didn’t need, in a 1v4 and lost us the game again lead by that Dragonite. He then started saying similar shit and I normally don’t plug in a mic but it had to be done lol

I usually have a bad team a couple times a day, but in the last two days I had 13 back to back shit teams. Not exaggerating, people would be afk from the beginning, going in the wrong lanes, ignoring objectives, never leaving our side of the map, picking a terrible pokemon last second before matches start. Anything you can think of, I have seen last two days. Never seen anything like it lol. It's not the norm for the game, it just got funny after a while.

It also happened with me i was zeraora against metagross, and i was running away from him, so i used my volt switch to make distance but he was still following me, then i used my volt switch again to come back on the original spot but his levitation damage followed with me where my initial volt switch was, that was a lot of distance, even eject button cannot let him go that far

I was in a match today where our blastoise started pinging me when I shared 1 farm with a bottom laner on my way to the bottom objective countdown. I needed that last hit for my ult. I as sylveon was at every objective on time, every team fight, in our team I did the most damage, the most damage taken, the most healing. Our tank went to zero objectives, minimum scoring before ray then went to backcap. He managed to last hit ray at the last second though.

Last week I decided to play some ranked matches with an Irl friend, and brought my boyfriend as well. He kept insulting my bf just because on his eyes, he wasn't doing his job as a defender, even tough as a wish Umbreon he was mean looking enemies and wishing us on cooldown. On the post match lobby after our defeat he was fuming and just said he would kick my bf from the team, then we just left the lobby because It just wasn't worth it anymore. The dude was playing Mewtwo X and doing badly. He also blamed our random Venusaur who by all accounts was playing pretty well, like my bf who made some very good picks as Umbreon and tanked a lot for us. Even I would be more at fault than them by picking Wiggly in a comp more suited for a healer.

Literally yesteray I had called jungle way before and this person switches to urshifu and starts using my jungle when the said they would go top.

When this happens, it will be better for you and your team to just immediately fill the lane that is missing a player. You can't control the person stealing jungle, but you can control yourself. They shouldn't steal jungle of course, but it would be better to adapt so that a lane isn't struggling alone. Also if you are new, there could be other reasons you are struggling to climb. So do your best to learn from your own mistakes as well. New season is starting soon. Best of luck!

Let them take the first jungle rotation, take a mon that is good in both lane and jungle, and after they finish their first jungle rotation take jungle for yourself. Most players who try to jungle after you have already called it won't return to their jungle anymore, so it's free real estate.
