The main reason people hate her is because she doesn't explain any controversy. When people sees something, they starts speculating but if Jennie or YG gave any explanation, they would see their point of view.

In my opinion, Jennie gets hate because she was often one of those idols who was called 'princess of yg'. When yg doesn't even care about her, she is still called an overhyped idol when i can really say she deserves all the hype and love and support for her talent.

Not a Blink but from what I have seen and noticed so far, she gets hated cause she's an easy target. She doesn't get to explain her words, her actions and little anything due to her company or how sensitive of a person she seems. Things like this are hard on her mental health and seems like this might be a reason why she doesn't want to acknowledge the hate. She solves it by ignoring the hate rather than facing it and it's totally understandable. Having so much attention on her must keep her under alot of stress and pressure. All of this makes people speculate things about her and get on the hate train. She's constantly compared to other members of the group for her skills. Another thing might be cause she and her fandom's got alot of power and people don't like to see them in power. When Jennie had broken a ton of records by her Solo, stans of other members tried hard to boycott her and her solo for some reasons and yet she succeeded very well, but it still didn't get to make as much noise cause of toxic stans.
