Mjosgard saving Shirahosi is such a great moment. In the backstory he was as bad as St. Charlos, but here you get too see that his time with the queen changed him and not killing him results in Shirahoshi not getting enslaved.

no way he was as bad. Otohime saved him and he instantly let her go with him at the surface and let her come back to her homeland. How is that being bad ? Charlos would just have killed everyone after being healed (or at least would have tried)

The fact that the travelator is just a slave driven luxury is the perfect representation of all the celestial dragons stand for. Talk about an impactfull moment to drive the point home. On the surface everything is shiny and elegant, while at the core its despicable and inhumane

Mojsgard is like a cousin of Doffy. Same family, but it’s been 800 years so the first 20 families have expanded quite a bit. Interesting he too had an epiphany like Doffy’s father Homing.

The stories of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet were taken from a set of chapter covers. There's some stuff missing, here's what: - Cavendish's story is pretty much word for word, except it hasn't been mentioned that all of his crewmates are his servants that were sent away with him; - The island Barto landed on was actually under the protection of Shanks, so the populace gracefully declined the Luffy pins. But since Barto is a die-hard fan, he torched the Red Pirates flag just to make a statement - I'm guessing the anime skipped that part because they did a filler episode between Dressrosa and Zou where Barto explained all the Straw Hat origin stories to his crew, setting up that he knew about Luffy's connection to Shanks - which this story proved wrong; - Sai got beat up by Ooklicia, his former betrothed, when he met her to cancel their wedding. So she went back to her 25 other husbands, while Sai actually did get married to Baby 5; - Ideo's group ran into a fight between Longlegs and Longarms, and marooned both groups on a deserted island so they'd get over their problems. Also decided on the name "Ideo Pirates"; - The Tontatta pirates got their own ship. Not gonna tell you about it, just google "Tontatta Pirates Ship", and thank me later; - We know the names and duties of Hajrudin's pirate crew. The guy with the GREAT BIG BUSHY BEARD is the shipwright, Stansen, who is also the giant that Rayleigh saved from slavery on Sabaody. The guy with the side-bangs is Road, he's the navigator, while the blonde one is the cook, Goldberg. The chick is the doctor, Gerd. And if the name sounds familiar, it's because she's Big Mom's childhood friend from Elbaf; - We saw Orlumbus' right-hand man, Columbus, who seems to be an ill-mannered brat of a twink. We've also seen the fleet's first attempt at piracy - but turns out the village they raided was poorer than they were, so they've shared some of their provisions instead; - And Bellamy journeyed to a city that revolves around garments, where he started working on a Straw Hat flag made out of unrippable cloth.

Oda's a simple guy who chooses to portray complex things in equally simple ways. As an unrepentant Celestial Dragon Mjosgard's physical appearance was hideous, but once he turned a new leaf he became (a little) more handsome.

I really love the old running gag of nobody being interested in Dr. Kureha's secret to her youth because she looks to be in her 70's which ain't exactly youthful but when you hear how old she actually is(141) while still being able to pull off a midriff showing outfit literally anyone would want to know. She probably assumes everyone wants to know out of habit cause I bet people really wanted to know when she was an absolute knockout even into her 100's. It's also a joke on the audience cause we all want to know and she keep basically offering to tell people but no one in the story shows an interest. The running gags from early One Piece are so simple but they still get me.

Ah, the Frozen Hat of Destiny.... boy, did that cause a legendary uproar back in the day. 😂 And yes, Mjosgard was another big surprise, he was. It's interesting that CDs from the Donquixote clan are the only ones shown to have a heart (Homing, Rosinante, now Mjosgard).... I wonder why that is? 🤔

Thanks for another 3-ep upload, cutting out the recaps! 👍🏾 8:23 - Dr. Kureha = goals for sure, but also notice her t-shirt has an amount of money on it that might be oddly familiar... 💖 ~14:00 Yeah I'm sure the hat is the national treasure, though some have had other ideas of what it is as well. It seems (this is not confirmed or anything) that the hat is *refrigerated* though, for some reason? (I've heard an interesting guess why, but it would be incredibly spoilery to get into.) Great point that Doffy's father could have done as Myosgard did (and tried to change things)! At least Otohime saved her daughter from beyond the grave. I think you missed (?) Myosgard saying it was Otohime scolding him that made him want to become a better person. Too bad he was too sheltered to know better. Maybe Myosgard only knew because of his relatives that went first?
