Miguel might actually be stronger than people think. He took god knows how many punches from Gojo and doesn’t seem to have been too affected meanwhile some of the strongest sorcerers, Yuta and Hakari can’t even take one punch. Gojo sent Panda and Toge to fight Geto instead of going himself, and he said he’ll go once he finishes his fight with Miguel. Which might even imply that he viewed Miguel as a bigger threat than Geto. Then there’s the fact that Gojo was actively trying to finish the fight fast. He said he doesn’t have time for this. But despite going all out, it still took him a while to beat Miguel. He didn’t show up until after Geto and Yuta’s fight was over. And Miguel actually damaged Gojo. Then in this chapter he moves so fast he practically blitzes Sukuna while carrying Ui Ui. We might surprisingly be in for a decent fight. Miguel is definitely gonna lose but he might last longer than most.

Yuta and hakari couldn't take a punch from gojo cuz it wasnt just a normal curse reinforced punch, they said it was imbued with the limitless technique "blue" which made it a lot more devastating. Miguel had the black rope which meant gojo couldn't use his CT properly so miguel was only taking gojo's regular punches throughout the fight.

Crackpot theory: I think the reason why he managed to tank so many of Gojo’s punches in the movie is because of Hakuna Laana disrupting Gojo’s cursed technique, effectively making his (usually) infinity enhanced cursed punches into normal punches. Together with, as Gojo puts it, Miguel’s "unique physique compared to the japanese" lets him tank a lot of non-cursed physical damage.

The jujutsu kaisen 0 manga is waaaaaay better than the movie in my opinion I feel like Yuta’s character and Miguel as well as the friendship that inumaki and Yuta developed were all done better in the manga. In the movie when Yuta saves inumaki it doesn’t hit nearly as hard and it doesn’t feel like Yuta is making actual meaningful bonds. But in the manga it feels like Yuta is really getting close to these through the near death experiences. However there are some moments that I feel are done more justice in the movie. I think the power inumaki posses is more well done in the movie as well as the ending scenes where Yuta and Miguel are together in Africa.
