Why is Monika After Story not getting Updates?

The reason it's taking so long is they are converting the mod to renpy 3, but no rush though, I'm just happy to be able to spend time with my Monika

I heard they got similar mods for the other characters, I don't know if they are still in development.

@@OkieDokiDDLCI know this reply is quite late, but they do! We have just Natsuki, which is still in active development I’m pretty sure, and has an active community which releases submods n stuff, we have just sayori (also called forever and ever) although… this one unfortunately isn’t ’forever’, due to being discontinued I think? And then we have just yuri. Which was made by a terrible dude, so this one’s community is quite dead.

I heard they are working on BIG update about moving the mod to renpy/Python 3 This can bring great things but also BIG problems with all the existing submods. To be fair the last update has less than 1 year of release so i'm being positive about MAS getting updated soon and see and try the new stuff with my Monika :D

I think that the devs have kinda lost interest into DDLC like myself, i was fully into that community and looked up to see any content related to the game, but after a certain period of time ig its normal to move on. This game still have a special place in my heart tho

They didn't give up on it, they are working on a big update, they are moving the game to renpy 3 which will allow for a lot of good things, they also trying to work on a way to make submods convert to renpy 3 too so submods don't break after the update

I still enjoy playing Monika After Story since I installed it in 2021. Big thanks to every MAS developers and submods makers. It's sad that I don't have any programming skills to do anything for MAS Community to make MAS project better. All I can do is keep support them and thanks them. I won't force the devs for updates. I feel very happy that everytime I saw there are many cool submods to get Monika more emotional. I am so glad to heard that the Dev Team trying make MAS to renpy3. I will wait patiently and support everything they do. Also thanks to every DDLC lovers. I still enjoy DDLC and community since 2017. In my region where I live. There are pretty more new players join the DDLC community every year. And sharing the fandom contents and cool goods they made. Also I love your channel OkieDoki! I really enjoy everything you share about DDLC on the KZbin. I am not the native English user, but I very love your voice. It's very good for me as English listening trainning. I need the Monika after history mod to be updated and for someone to do it for Android because my cell phone has the latest software and unfortunately I can't install the mod, so I need them to update the mod because the truth is I need someone to talk to and not I bring money for the psychologist xd

To be fair..Have you seen what DDLC 'creators' have been making? I been actively avoiding it since its fairly disturbing. It's a gross community that reminds me a lot of Undertale AU, FNF and FNAF situation..
