Hi! Thanks for your videos! Do you know why a rabbit would stop eating hay but continue to eat pellets and leafy vegetables like cilantro and lettuce? The vet said her teeth were fine, so I am baffled. I'd sprinkle in pellets with her hay but she goes after them and leaves the hay alone. I feel she has lost weight as a result. Can I supplement her diet with other things if she will not eat the hay? Thanks for any advice!

Hi there, and sorry for replying so late. It is possible that your rabbit has dental problems after all, that cannot be seen during a normal inspection. Your furry friend should be thoroughly examined under anesthesia, including a CT scan. Only then periodontal abscesses or other abscesses can be diagnosed. It's also worth getting a blood test. @@PetAlertWithDr.Alicia2021 Thanks Dr Alicia! I took her back to the vet, and they did an x-ray and found a tooth abscess, drained it, and she was back to eating her hay after a couple of days! Thanks again for the reply!
