Oh my goodness, I am all Italian and every time I am in Northampton, New Hampshire swimming in the cold water and then sitting in the sun my skin gets itchy. I never burn, and it only lasts until my skin gets used to the sun at the beginning of the season❤ thank you so much for this. Have a blessed weekend, my friend.❤

I have lupus and have a similar issue. If I am in the sun more than 30 minutes I get itchy and sunburned. My dermatologist didn’t do any of the tests you mentioned and just said “stay out of the sun” which I was already doing but I wanted my life back. I live in Texas, I can’t avoid the sun! Anyway, 3 years later, I have to work from home and basically home bound. I am so sick of avoiding the sun. Any suggestions? I wear uv sleeves, scarves, but they are hot and cause heat breakout. Sunscreen doesn’t work.

Sun sensitivity. My skin erupts in sunlight I have to wear factor 50 sun sensitive screen. It contains titanium dioxide. I discover3d it whist on holiday in the mountains. A lady pulled me to one side and said you have sun sensitivity in broken English and showed me the stuff I should be using. It worked.

Are you on sertraline depression tablets as it tells you sun can effect your skin I have it .

This was my only symptom before my diagnosis of Polycythemia Vera Jak2 positive. Blood test was first step.
