I contacted the uk visa embassy in my country and was asking about the progress of my application and they said that my GWF is invalid. I have used this gwf number several times before and it was working. Why is it saying it is invalid now. Has anyone ever experienced this? If so what was the outcome? On top of it I did my biometrics September 2nd 2022( priority service) and up until now I haven't heard anything.

Hey man, have a question. I had gone to Nepal in Jan 2020 but while going I had traveled via road so I didn’t need to get a stamp on my passport. But while coming back in March 2022 I flew down to India by air. So had to get immigration and get my passport stamped. Would it be an issue for me since there’s only a stamp of departure in the passport but no stamp of arrival into Nepal. I have already done my bio metrics on 10th Aug for my student visa,I’m just worried if they would consider it a red flag while processing my visa or if my visa processing would take longer

This is not an issue since they dont go through the no. of visa stampings. UKVI decision centre is in UK and passport always stays in home country

This is really unfortunate. If possible, please approach passport collection desk of your VFS and enquire about this. In some cases they do entertain walkins. Also check spam emails.

Inform toh hamesha karte hain but kai scenarios hai like email spam mein chala jata hai ya visa stamping mein time lagta hai. You can try going to VFS passport collection desk and try to get an update. Kai baar woh entertain karte hain and kai baar mail ke reply karne ka bolte hain. UKVI se bhi dubara paid enquiry karne pe same hi reply aata hai in such cases.

That was start December, he still hasn't heard from vfs about his Interview are anything, he said before he left his passport into them, they rang him to do that. Hi I recently started watching your videos and I must say they're clear to the point and helpful. I have one question if you could help me on that. I have applied for student VISA and my wife and 4 years old daughter will joine me later in few months. Now I am not sure how I would show the proof of funds for my daughter, she is just 4 years. Should we open a minor bank account for her and then generate the statement or we accumulate the entire fund on her mother's account? I have been trying to find the answer to this everywhere but didn't get any clarity, hope you would be able to guide us. Thanks in advance

Jha ji there is no clear wording available for this but its sort of hidden in the fine prints and based on other peoples' experience. You can simply show the funds in the students account which in your case is yourself. No need for minor account. Idea is that the funds should be accessible and come from blood relatives. Or if both spouses are applying together then the funds can reside in either of the accounts. www.gov.uk/guidance/financial-evidence-for-student-and-child-student-route-applicants

Sir i have completed my biometrics on 8/june/2022 for standard visitor visa it’s been 11 weeks and i haven’t received my passport, they just sent me a mail that your application will take more than 6 weeks and will take 9/10 weeks but now its been 11 weeks.

Malvika Bewtra-Anand nothing confirmed yet. it takes upto 10 business days for passport stamping and dispatch by VFS. It usually is just 1-3 days but due to high backlog nowadays it is taking longer

28 days is the minimum days and uske baad hi Visa apply kar sakte hain. Lekin kai cases mein UKVI explanation of source of funds bhi mang leti hai and 3 months ka bank statement. This is not very often but in few cases. So agar possibility ho toh 3+ months and personal loan ya relative se borrow kar re toh thoda zyada. Apne agent se consult karna aap and he can tell better

Visit visa processing time is 7 weeks. In practice it takes 2-3 months. Just because UKVI is processing student visas on priority
