I recall when they added auto battle for China (reagion specific) they said they have no plans to introduce it in US or EU. It was in the patch notes - feel free to look it up. This current patch note was for picture in picfure thay compliments the auto battle - lets you use your phone while the game plays itself. I would love to see it in EU but I doubt that will ever happen.

Biggest mistake they can make. That would flood the game with even more bots and ultimately chase away a portion of the player base.

They should reduce material requirements for upgrade eq and increase drop loots, that way u dont need auto battle or auto farming. Compared to many popular games in the market, most of it using auto battle already.

Net Ease probably sees auto farm as a solution to huge gap in gear upgrade between the old and new players. Not the best idea from my point of view , but at least they didn't add scrap material packs to the shop (yet?). If one could offer better solution change scrap material exchange rate to something like 1 inferno material to 10 hell and so on instead of current 1:1

No to auto battle feature. It would attract lazy people and chanches are those people are toxic because it would imply that they want to be competitive but do nothing. Less actual play = less practice = weak player base = forced carry in competitive game modes. I know it wouldn't always be the case but odds are not good.

I have been off of work for 4 months. I start back to work tomorrow. During my time off I have played 65 - 80 hrs a week. Now that is lazy. Now that I am going back to work and not being lazy, I would like to be able to autofarm during work hours. Then I will have money to spend on the game, which will hopefully get blizzard to give me an unfair advantage.

Im leaning on the competitive side of the game. Im not against casual play. But i dont like the idea when a move is made to thin the line between casual and hardcore because the mentality some people are off and does not realize that casual player is not meant to compete (the basis is the word casual itself) this people are usually the loudest in world chat and can very annoying. Long time ago had a troll in open world because did not help in raid especially now that map inferno and hell in all level are the same he/she can follow you anywhere in the open world to mess up the rotation Lol.I know this doesn't apply to all but chances there will be more toxic people. And most of all some people like the idea of a progress earned. Can't speak for everyone but this my opinion on the matter and respect yours 😊@@TenacityQ

@julyivangalanto2228 I agree with what you are saying. I really don't want to see interactions in open world that are automated. I am annoyed by the people that farm by laying dead on the ground. I would like to see solo dungeon farming types of autofarming. Fishing fully automated would be awesome

The competition for mobile games in China is stiff. Believe it or not there are not many players of immortal here. These updates were designed to make immortal appease the Chinese players complaints about the game play. Every mobile game in China has an auto battle function. Drop rates are better aswell, so much better..

Autobattle goes on for 20 minutes at a time, with a 24 hours weekly cap, where the game automatically spams attack and all the skills while your character stands in place. And now people can use other apps while using that function on Android. You will never again walk past any mob spawn area without a bunch of bots farming.

I like autoplay for certain things. I don't mind bots in dungeons, if it helps me to farm more dungeons. I have never used a spoon, but If someone wants to tie up there phone by placing a spoon on the screen and walking away, why not. It doesn't hurt anyone else and anyone can do it. On my main, I can leave him stand in the open world, go get a drink of water, come back, and there will be a pile of loot at his feet, because of the blessing of the worthy gem. Pet picks up the loot now. I hope they provide an auto salvage method included with the auto play.

@elmerofun6669 Blessing of the worthy explodes on enemies when they attack me. The damage of the explosion is based on your life lvl at the time of the attack. It is fun. Mobs often regret hitting me. They spawn in and start coming toward me. One of them touches me and KABOOM 🤯 💥 the whole group vaporizes or goes flying.

2:49, Asian servers already had a Double Gem event in the past battle pass, whit this new event there are already twice Double Gems event in Asia and for Occidental players none. But I'm not sure if exist or not limited runs.

The event in China is a full 24 hours, the event we get in the US has only ever been a single run. For whatever reason people in Diablo Immortal seem surprised that the CN region gets special treatment and extra events above and beyond what the Wests gets, but it's not new, and its not unique to Diablo Immortal. You can sell your account in CN and its no agaisnt ToS. They even have Netease Customer Support to facilitate safely transfering the character from the owner account to tbe buyer account. Different world completely.

I still don't understand why most don't like auto battle when in Diablo Immortals there are only few items are being sold in the market. The only problem when bots farm for tradable items then turn to real world trading. If auto battle just means for leveling why not as if not benefit of whatsoever aside from goal for leaderboards. I grown tired of pressing skills repeatedly and if only just want to roam around the map with auto skills at least. I also want auto run at Elder Rift until cap limit at least you can just set rest the phone on or better yet just put Replay.

I use a s9 ultra I set up my pen with the button on it to use all my skills over and over I blue tack my pen on the auto attack and boom I use all attacks and I go afk 24/7 4 weeks playing and I’m paragon 1321. Also I can’t die I use blood knight and all self heal skills while I farm

Netease has already "created two separate products for different regions". This is pretty typical. Lost Ark does this, Path of Exile does this. Every Blizzard game has had to remove all skeletons from their games for the CN releases. They were able to stop the WoW CN servers without any impact on other regions. Good localization is a way to maximize profit. They have the resources to make different products for different regions. It's good to bring this up so that players are aware of what's happening in other regions but I'm personally not concerned that it will make its way west. Remember the Throne & Liberty autoplay drama? It was universally hated. DI is even more action combat oriented than TL. I guess I'm taking a big leap of faith here but I have to imagine that Blizzease is competent enough to understand that the west is not interested in an autplaying Diablo game. I think the main selling point of the game is experiencing the power of 5 star gems. Its this power fantasy that keeps people spending. If you just autoplay you never experience this and won't want to fomo into the next new OP gem.
