Around 8 years back I had visited Paris. I saw people sleeping on pavements. All metro station entrances had small small markets....majority of them from Islamic countries...near Effel tower Indians were selling water bottles....metros were outdated.....some places were like slums....that's the reality of Paris. Only in movies they show the glamorous part of Paris. I wasn't impressed by Paris.

Just came back from a week's trip in Paris and though things are rough in adjoining areas and same safety issues, but I have travelled at night in Buses and metro and didn't feel 'too unsafe'. The city's old and maintained architecture is top class and the city itself feels very refreshing 👌🏼 Having the largest number of tourists on the planet will have some setbacks and that's a truth we have to live with.
